What to do
- Organize the collection and processing of game data together with data engineers, game designers and developers, starting from the design stage of game features.
- Analyze collected data: key metrics of game products, analysis of game balance, economy, player behavior, individual game features.
- Analyze the performance of game events, promotions, release of new features and versions of the game, prepare reports.
- Identify problems and opportunities for improving games based on data, form proposals and hypotheses.
- Analyze the effectiveness of monetization, propose improvements, analyze the results of their implementation.
- Visualize data: develop reports, dashboards, funnels in Amplitude and Tableau\QuickSight
- Participate in organizing, conducting and interpreting the results of A / B tests.
- Generate and maintain up-to-date data collection and analytics documentation.
What we care
- 2 years of experience as an analyst on a game project
- Understanding key metrics for gaming products
- Understanding how to monetize mobile games
- Experience with Amplitude, Tableau\QuickSight
- Excellent knowledge of SQL. Knowledge of Python or any other scripting language
- Mathematical background: knowledge of probability theory and applied statistics
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodology and experience in conducting split tests
- Knowledge of ETL processes and methods
- Experience with any NoSQL solutions: Cassandra, Redis, Hive, etc.
- Experience with AWS products
