The land has fallen into ruin, and children represent the last hope for humanity. One of them, Hiro, fails to live up to that purpose and plans to walk away from it all until he meets a girl with horns.
The parasites struggle to come to terms with Hiro being the one who piloted Strelitzia. Even Hiro can't really believe it himself. Things come to a head when he's ordered to participate in a mock battle.
After their failure in the startup trial, things are awkward between Ichigo and Hiro, who decides to ask to ride with Zero Two again.
With the squad still feeling the aftershocks of the previous mission, things come to a head as the leaders run out of patience and decide to summon Strelitzia back to the front lines.
It's time for Plantations 13 and 26 to start kissing, and the squad prepares for the huge battle this will cause. Everyone also has to get used to Hiro being Zero Two's partner.
Ichigo, Goro, and the rest of Squad 13 engage in a battle far more dangerous than any they've fought before, all while having their mind preyed on by the fact that this will be Hiro's third ride with Zero Two.
Squad 13 is given a much-needed break after defending the kissing plantations in a fierce battle. They head to an unexpected location and find something even more unexpected.
The boys get caught in a compromising situation, causing a rift within Squad 13. Will they be able to bridge this divide? And how will Zero Two react to the most human of spats?
Soon after Goro becomes keenly aware of his feelings, he is put in a perilous situation. How will he and Ichigo respond in this do-or-die scenario?
APE decide to give Squad 13 a reward in order to accelerate their development. The ceremony is held in a place Zorome has always dreamed of living in, and there he meets someone he has always wanted to meet.
Squad 13's growth has been remarkable, but Chlorophytum's score keeps going down. With this in mind, Nana and Hachi propose a partner shuffle, which finds an unexpected taker.
Squad 13 heads back to the Garden for testing, with Zero Two's emotional state worsening by the day. They run into Nine Alpha, who offers some insight about her, but the most revealing words come straight Zero Two herself.

Just got my steelbook and I love it! The case is nice and the video and audio quality is great. It also has an option to change the audio to Japanese with English subtitles which is how I prefer.

First of all, I'd like to say I tried purchasing this from the funimation website, but it was "sold out." Apparently Funimation sold a significant portion of this set to amazon to have them sell at a higher price. Luckily I bought this while on sale and managed to get it for only about 3 dollars more than the original price. The story told in this series is great. Some wonderful characters and set pieces and in my opinion, a great ending for the short series that it is. My score has little to do with the content that is on the discs, but rather the extras in the limited edition box. First and foremost, the story book is not well made. It would have been much better if they used the same material as the art book - instead you get a little pamphlet that is the size of a cd case - picture for reference. This makes the story book undisplayable and easily damaged. It's obvious funimation did not recognize the significance of the item and just shipped a low quality item as a "get it in" extra. Also - It isn't translated - not a huge deal, but makes it even more irrelevant. Secondly, Both the case and the character cards included are noticeably blurry. The characters themselves looks as though the image was moved while the printing was taking place. Lastly, the one decent thing, the art book, is pretty nice. It's a paperback however and is also easily damageable. The material would not allow you to display it. If you are buying this for the extras, don't. If I would have done more research I probably wouldn't have bought it myself. I enjoy the series however and will keep it. It's a real shame that all the extras end up being such low quality and then on top of that, you'll have to pay another 30 bucks if you want the whole series. If you must have this set on Blu-ray, try to wait for a sale and skip the LE edition entirely.

Everything is good but the one problem I have is that there is a digital copy that I cant redeem because it says that it hasn't been activated. Can anyone help me with what I can do?

Love it came brand new. Even came with funimation digital copy which is another thing I love is to keep an online copy. Oh and the quality on the show was absolutely awesome and beautiful definitely recommend if you want this show. 👌

I know a Billion Anime reviewers will say this show is predictable and bland... well I liked it and I think is a personal taste kind of show. I'd say watch it and make your own mind or, watch reviews and skip it if you prefer somebody else telling you what to like or what to dislike.
