Daisy Edgar-Jones Set to Star in New Psychological Thriller 'The Silent House'

Fresh off her critically acclaimed performance in Where the Crawdads Sing and her Emmy-nominated role in Under the Banner of Heaven, Daisy Edgar-Jones has landed her next high-profile project. The British actress will headline The Silent House, a gripping psychological thriller directed by acclaimed filmmaker Karyn Kusama (The Invitation, Destroyer).

According to insider reports, Edgar-Jones will play Eleanor 'Nora' Voss, a reclusive woman who inherits a secluded estate after her estranged mother’s mysterious death. As Nora begins uncovering long-buried family secrets, she starts experiencing terrifying visions, leading her to question her own sanity.

The screenplay, penned by The Haunting of Hill House writer Rebecca Sonnenshine, promises a chilling blend of gothic horror and psychological drama. Producers have described the film as 'The Babadook meets Rebecca,' with Edgar-Jones’ performance expected to anchor the suspense.
