Speaking in Washington this week, advocates for internet safety called on Congress and the Department of Justice to enforce obscenity laws more vigorously and drew parallels between the spread of web porn and the BP oil spill. Donna Rice Hughes, president of Enough Is Enough, a Virginia-based non-profit that aims to make the web more family-friendly, says internet pornography has reached "epidemic" proportions: "We are facing a national crisis that is every bit as damaging to our citizens and our culture as the oil spill is to... the Gulf community." Controversial Australian social commentator Prue MacSween has been called out for sending tweets aimed at current and former Labor prime ministers to the wrong accounts.
Ms MacSween sent a tweet lambasting Anthony Albanese to an 'Italian porn artist' rather than the Prime Minister, and then sent a barb fired at Paul Keating to a fake account that hasn't posted in 13 years.
Her tweet about Labor's 'dilemma' over stage three tax cuts said the party wants to 'establish economic management creds, which they’ve never had.
'But do they risk a 'there will be no climate tax' Gillard moment? And what does legislated policy mean if they don’t deliver tax cuts? No wonder @Albo is MIA (missing in action).'
Self-styled schoolboy journalist Leonardo Puglisi, 14, tweeted back at Ms MacSween to say 'Prue, he's MIA as prime minister because he's actually an Italian porn artist.'

She responded with a snarky tweet back to Mr Puglisi, saying 'I look forward to the time when you grow up. I wonder if that will ever happen?'
He was not deterred, though, replying 'look I gotta admire the fact you took over 24 hours to think of this reply, I just tweet whatever comes to my mind'.
Mr Puglisi also said to Ms MacSween 'Prue you're 56 years older than me but yet I know which twitter handle is the PM and which twitter handle is an Italian porn artist.'
Contacted by Daily Mail Australia, the young reporter said Ms MacSween should 'continue tweeting as it's funny to correct her every single time.
'Some might say tagging the wrong accounts constantly is her own little dark age,' Mr Puglisi said.
In a response to Daily Mail Australia, Ms MacSween said she is 'Not interested in talking about this precocious, attention-seeking individual.'
On Wednesday, Ms MacSween also tagged the wrong Paul Keating in a jibe at the man who was a Labor prime minister from 1991 to 1996.

'He is so wedded to his alliance with Commie China, how could you take him seriously?'
The problem was that @PaulKeatingPM clearly states it is a 'Fake Paul Keating having his say on everything.'
And the account also has not posted anything since November 3, 2009.
Mr Puglisi spotted that too, and said he was not having a go at Ms McSween due to her seniority.
'It's not an attack on her age - but like, she’s been on Twitter like 10 years more than me, is a lot older than me and has been in media a lot.
'So you'd think after all that she'd be able to tag the right account,' he said.
