AN EVIL dad who filmed himself raping his 1-year-old daughter has been jailed for 70 years.
James Lockhart, 31, from Florida pleaded guilty to producing, distributing and possessing child abuse footage in March and has received the maximum sentence.
As well as a life sentence, Lockhart also signed a plea agreement which will mean that he will have to provide assistance to Homeland Security with catching other members of the online paedophile community, and will be obliged to testify against them.
The vile father of two produced four videos of himself sexually abusing his daughter over a 23-month period, beginning the disgusting abuse when his daughter was just one year old.
Using the aliases "Strangewood" and "Hardwood," he discussed sexual encounters he had with both male and female toddlers and asked other sick users for ideas of "what to do next."
This predator will never again harm a child
Lockhart amassed a child pornography collection of a "sadomasochistic and violent nature", with some of the horror videos featuring his own child.
Homeland security agents were able to eventually track Lockhart, who had been working as a paramedic, through the messaging app Kik, before raiding his home in a child pornography investigation dubbed Operation Test Pilot.
Agent Michael B. Cochran said: “This deviant committed the most horrible atrocities imaginable to a one-year-old child.
“HSI’s national and international partnerships have helped ensure that this predator will never again harm a child.”
Investigators found three child abuse videos and 4,000 pictures in his home.
Homeland Security agents showed the footage to his wife, mother to Lockhart's 1-year-old victim and her twin brother.
Lockhart's wife "immediately and without hesitation" identified the toddler when she was shown photos taken from the video.
She also identified an adult hand in a photograph "as belonging to her adult husband, James Lockhart” as well as the girl’s stuffed toy and their sofa.
He was ultimately identified by a mole on his finger, and his wedding ring.
