DTC Six-Month Internship

DTC Six-Month Internship

Coordinator staff care and training

Practical Goals:

  1. **Write Regular Updates** Develop the skill of writing bi-monthly updates about your internship project. Ensure these updates are clear, concise, and engaging, showcasing progress, challenges, and key takeaways. These updates will serve to inform mentors and supporters while helping you reflect on your work systematically.
  2. **Take Recognizable but Anonymous Photos** Practice taking photographs that effectively communicate the essence of your project or activities while respecting privacy. Avoid including identifiable faces, but focus on capturing meaningful and clear images that highlight the environment, actions, or outcomes. These photos can be used for project reports, presentations, or personal documentation.
  3. **Build a Network for Future Ministry** Intentionally create and nurture relationships that will support your future ministry work. Use tools like WhatsApp, email, phone calls, and Zoom to stay connected with mentors, tea, and your local fellowship members. Set aside time to maintain these connections regularly, ensuring they are genuine and mutually beneficial.
  4. **Maintain a Daily Reflective Journal** Keep a personal, private journal to document your daily experiences. Include details about what you learned, challenges faced, accomplishments, and even mistakes made. Use this journal to reflect on your spiritual growth, emotional well-being, and professional development. This practice will provide valuable insights over time and serve as a resource for self-assessment and improvement.
  5. **Set Prayerful and Measurable Goals** Dedicate time each day to pray and reflect on what you want to achieve during the internship. Establish both short-term (monthly) and long-term (entire internship) goals, ensuring they are realistic and measurable. Align these goals with your spiritual, personal, and professional aspirations, and regularly assess your progress through prayer and introspection.
  6. **English Language Skills** Learn systematically conversational English.
