DRUJBA & 3RD SPACE
DRUJBADRUJBA (eng. Friendship) is a situational cooperation of people around experiments with co-creation, coexisting and cultural-leisure activities. The focus of cooperation is work with printed objects and organising of events accompanying the presentation of the results of such collective work: cooking sessions, parties, workshops, plein airs.
Some theses for interaction formulated in the documents issued by the Drujba cooperation:
"An answer to the imperfection of material conditions and the commercial-consumer orientation of cultural processes may be the creation of temporary autonomous zones and mutual assistance of friendly services for each other.
Co-creation and wide inclusion in the processes of cultural production, instead of mass consumerism.
Creation of infrastructures and exploration of means of production expands autonomy and reduces social alienation trough self-organisation and self-efficacy. Mutual exchange-based learning.
Access to creation free from capitalist hierarchies, as a basic need for the development of humanistic and harmonious relations.
Automatic writing as a way to articulate these needs."
One of the main base station for Drujba, is the 3rd Space.
3rd Space Studio was activated for work, communication and permanent exhibition. Symbiosis of kombinat, church, cosmo station and café. The principles of multifunctionality and transformability as ecology of space use are professed here. It means experimenting with different functions and their various combinations in one environment. For example Exposition, Reading corner, Publishing house, Post office, Ugolok Electronika or Disc-jockey station.
Located in Chișinău, Muzeul Zemstvei or just Zemstva.
