DMS OFFICE Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data the DMS OFFICE mobile application (the "App") by DMS Express (the "Company") collects, why it is used, and how it is protected.

The App is intended solely for Company employees: branch operators, warehouse staff, and couriers. To use the App, an employee must be registered in the Company's system.

1. Data We Collect

Phone number — to sign in with an SMS code.
Location — the device's precise coordinates when an employee adds an address to an order. Location is collected only when the employee performs this action. The App does not track location in the background.
Photos — photos confirming that a parcel was handed over to a customer. They are taken with the camera or selected by the employee from the gallery.
Work data — scanned barcodes, order statuses, payment type, comments, and the customer's phone number entered at handover.

The App does not display ads. It does not use advertising services or the advertising ID. It does not read contacts, SMS messages, or other files on the device.

2. How We Use Data

Data is used only for the Company's internal operations:

signing employees in;
receiving parcels, placing them in storage cells, handing them over to customers, and delivering them;
keeping records of handed-over parcels and payments.

3. Data Stored on the Device

So that the employee does not have to sign in every time, the App stores the access token, the employee's name, phone number, and selected region on the device. This data is deleted from the device when the employee signs out.

4. App Permissions

Camera — scanning barcodes and taking handover photos.
Location — adding an address to an order, only while the App is open.
Notifications — informing the employee about newly assigned orders.
Storage (Android 12 and earlier only) — saving photos to the gallery.

Any permission can be turned off at any time in the phone settings. The related feature will then not work.

5. Third-Party Services

Barcodes are recognized with the Google ML Kit library. Camera images are processed on the device itself and are not sent anywhere. ML Kit may send technical diagnostic data about its operation (device model, library version, performance metrics) to Google, as governed by the ML Kit Terms.
When an employee opens an address on a map or calls a customer, the App opens the map or phone app installed on the device. From that point, the privacy policy of that app applies.

6. Data Transfer and Storage

All data is sent only to the Company's servers over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Data is not sold or disclosed to third parties, except where required by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Data is retained for as long as it is needed for the Company's operations and as required by law.

7. Data Deletion

An employee may request deletion of their account and related data through their department manager or the HR department, by email at dmsexpress2010@gmail.com, or by phone at +998 90 329 97 66. Requests are reviewed within 30 days. Data that must be retained by law (for example, accounting and audit records) is kept until the required retention period ends. Details: Account Deletion.

8. Children

The App is not intended for persons under 18 and does not knowingly collect their data.

9. Changes

When this policy is updated, the effective date on this page will be changed.
