STAR SANDA CERTAIN EVENT IN 2015
On 15 July 2015, over 100 people came together in Theatre X (Cai) at Ryogoku in Tokyo to celebrate the publication that year of five books by Roger Pulvers. Among the event’s eighteen sponsors were friends of long standing from the arts: Ryuichi Sakamoto, Renji Ishibashi and Mako Midori, who subsequently became involved in STAR SAND; actor Akira Emoto and playwright Juro Kara; film director Yoji Yamada; architect Kengo Kuma; and author Yasutaka Tsutsui.
That evening at the event the announcement was made that STAR SAND was to become a feature film.
