When it comes to love, age is just a number - or so the saying goes.
But how would you react if you saw a man in his sixties on a romantic date with a woman young enough to be his granddaughter?
To find out, we set up a 'date' between 69-year-old Bill and Sian, 27, and then asked the public what they thought of the controversial 'romance'.

Ten minutes into the date, an amused van driver slowed down to take a closer look
It didn't take long before the couple started turning heads.
Ten minutes into the date, a few passersby stopped to offer words of encouragement to the sexagenarian and an amused van driver even slowed down to take a closer look.
But when we stopped members of the public to ask them what they thought of the 42-year age gap, most had no problem with it.
Tristan, 23, commented: '[They] seem really happy. It’s not really my place to judge, you know what I mean?'

According to Bill, he and Sian had 'quite a lot in common'. While Sian said she would love to see him again
And Joe, 29, agreed. 'It's fine,' he said. 'As far as I'm concerned, age is just a number, so it doesn't make any difference.'
An 86-year-old man, who declined to give his name, was also supportive.
'I see nothing wrong with it, providing they look after one another,' he said. 'If they’re married or if they’re a couple, I don’t see a problem.'
However, he slightly undermined his point when he added: 'If there's a young rich girl looking around for an older man, I'm available, OK?'
Stefan, 28, was quick to refer to the fuss about French President Emmanuel Macron's marriage to a woman 24 years his senior. '[It's] up to them - I guess with the French President as well,' he said. 'The stigma's there, so you probably will be taken a little bit aback by it.'

But he claimed that he personally wasn't 'too fussed by it'.
While admitting that the relationship between our 69-year-old and 27-year-old was 'a bit more strange than usual couples,' Julie, 34, said she didn't really care.
Unsurprisingly, not everyone was quite so accepting. Elaine, 52, suspected there were dark forces at play in the relationship.
'It's money and sex,' she said, adding: 'He ain't going to get much later on because he's on his way out, near to death, if you know what I mean. I don't think that's right, no.'

Alberto, 21, was also sceptical, quipping: 'He should be quite rich.'
But what did the couple themselves think? According to Bill, he and Sian had 'quite a lot in common'.
'It was good fun, we had a nice chat,' he said.
When asked what they'd chatted about, Sian said: 'We were talking about... err... he keeps bees.'
Would she like to see Bill again? 'Oh Bill's lovely,' she said. 'I'd love to go on a [proper] date with him.'

A year after playing in competition at the Cannes Film Festival , François Ozon ’s “ Young & Beautiful ” is finally nearing a stateside unveiling courtesy of Sundance Selects . The company just released its first trailer for the film ahead its April 25th release.
Gorgeous newcomer Marine Vacht headlines the film as a 17-year-old teenager who takes up prostitution for fun. Given the premise, it’s no surprise the film courted controversy in Cannes when Ozon told The Hollywood Reporter “it’s a fantasy of many women to do prostitution.”

A 20-year-old lady, Fatima Usman has accused her father of having sexual intercourse with her in Owo, Ondo state.
Fatima in a viral video gave the name of her father as Usman Momoh Sani, a worker in a tertiary institution in the state.
In the two minutes 10 seconds viral video, Fatima alleged that her father had been sleeping with her for long.
“Whenever I refused to have sex with my father he would send her out of the house in the midnight.
“My father has been sleeping with me for a very long, and whenever I refused he would send me out of the room.
“If I say I will voice out, he would be threatening to kill me.
“He would bring out a knife and show me that if I tell anybody he would kill me.”
“My mother did not bother to check on me whether I slept in the room or not.
“Anytime my father sent me out, and I slept outside, my mother would have slept off, she did not know what was happening.”
Fatima called on the government to help him get justice.
However, in another viral video, a man who claimed to be an in-law to Fatima’s father confirmed the incident and said the family had intervened in the matter.
He said; “When we heard about the matter, we came to their house and Fatima’s father confessed to the commission of the act but pleaded that it was the devil that pushed him.
“So we took the matter to our village in Delta State and the family said he had committed sacrilege.
“So he was asked to bring some items as atonement for the incestuous act and he provided those items, which include tubers of yam, goat, local gin among others.
“After that, the elders in the village warned the girl not to return to her father’s house that she should be staying with me.”
He confirmed that the matter was reported at a police station in the town and Momoh was arrested, interrogated and later granted bail.
Police spokesperson in the state, Tee-Leo Ikoro, claimed ignorance of the incident when contacted for comment.
