Virginia started phase 3 of re-opening on July 1. While Escape Rooms are able to open in phase 3, we are not opening yet.
Charlottesville is our home. We want to do as much as we can to help prevent the spread of the virus for our family, friends, and community. We are monitoring the situation very closely, and will open again when we feel it is safe. That time is not now.
We made the difficult decision on March 11 to close temporarily - two weeks before escape rooms in Virginia were ordered to close. Now we are choosing to stay closed because of disturbing trends in many states, some of which are our neighbors, and in the country as a whole.
We are so excited for the day when you can play with us again! We have as much fun as you do! Today is just not that day.
Time sure flies when you’re having fun,
and we’ve been having a blast Escaping with you!
We opened our doors on May 20, 2016 with great excitement, lots of jitters, and only us with our 2 kids as staff. Your welcome was so AMAZING that we realized we needed to expand our Escape Room family right away!
And expand it we did! Our wonderful staff and your friendship mean the world to us. We continue to learn from you and are so happy to see your faces!
We don’t know yet when we’ll reopen.
When we do, we will continue with ALL PRIVATE rooms and strive for little to no contact between you and everybody else. The safety of our expanded Escape Room family is our top priority.

We are back inside! If you want to come down tonight, we’d love to see you! Long story short, everybody is safe, and the elevator is broken. But we have stairs, and would love to have you escape the heat this weekend!
