While I'll admit that I don't like this as much as Girly, Cutewendy is still a pretty fun strip & it's also interesting to see where all of Lesnick's ideas began. Cutewendy was a gag a day (or whenever it updated) type of strip that eventually went into more of a plot arc, but the general gist of the strip is basic wackiness. Trying to describe said wackiness is pretty difficult, other than just saying that it's pretty funny. You have two cute girls doing strange things to each other & to other people. Give one of the strips a read & you'll understand why I can't elaborate more on the plot. The artwork & humor in Cutewendy isn't as polished as Lesnick's later work, but it is incredibly interesting to see how he started off. You can see the beginnings of Girly in this strip & fans of Girly will recognize how it ties into the Girly universe. (Can't elaborate due to spoilers.) I loved how Lesnick played on several ideas & jokes, the most notable for me was the usage of one basic art used for one of the male characters in the series. Even if you aren't that big of a Cutewendy fan, it really is worth getting in order to see how everything started off.
