If you see a dark/shadowy aura around your character, you can remove it by doing the following: navigate to your Skyrim SE / Skyrim folder. Go to the "enbseries" folder. Open the "enbeffectpostpass.fx" file (not the .ini file!) with any text editor. Navigate to the line #define AO. Set it to zero. If you're seeing weird bunnies while staring into the sun: Open up Skyrim. Once you're in game, press Shift + Enter. This opens the ENB menu. On the left side, you see a list of effects, some of which are ticked on, some are ticked off. Scroll down until you find "Sun Glare". Make sure to tick it off. No more bunnies :D

To start off, hi Magick Johnson! How are you today? I hope it is well for you. As for me, I'm playing AE of late. Actually, I haven't played sse since the updateocolypse. That's what I call it. Updateocolypse. Rolls off the tongue.    May I say I dig the impressions ENBs look btw. Uh. Side-note: AIA(apology in advance, bear with me)   So, like I said I just started playing again so- AE. Now, on my very first playthrough, immediately after Unbound, I made a B-Line to Whiterun. Nevermind Riverwood I ran straight for the CLOUD DISTRICT and this time was no exception I immediately got arrested for killing my archnemesis Nazeem, which incidentally gets me to Farengar much quicker and it's like ritual and all that...  Now. Brass tacks...I did something wrong. Perhaps missed an install step or a conflict and so the ENB doesn't look active ingame that is not behaving, but it is active because the Menu opens fine and I can check and uncheck and change a few things. Well that has got to be the answer. The enbPostpass.fx . You mentioned this in the descrip.   So yes I can go through the motions of installing the enbseries folder for the standard and all three files for the performance version. Oh, and of course the wrapper. Here's some thoughts and/or questions:                INSTALLING. 1. I made sure to add the two d3d files from the Wrapper. 2. Added/installed the three E's folder and files. Enbseries folder and e.local and e.ini respectively. My expectation was that the ENB would work right outa the box. Note. In this case I'm a bit confused. 3. This one's a bit on the nose and I deserve the fallout from it but Q: if I follow only the steps that you mentioned in the description barring conflicts, that is, I am answering my own Q but is that enough or is there a prereq I'm missing or .......... ? 4. Is it clear to you that I missed something or rather, (oops w/o screengrab maybe/not?) is obvious which one or more install instrucs I abused? Oh bother, I just don't know what I'm doing wrong in this case. So I fell can tell you(that)I'm fairly confident after all I wrote to you that I didn't give you enough info to go on, but alas, I ramble. Yes. Well, I suppose that is about all I know how to ask for the moment. Still. I was hoping I would answer my own Qs and find the solution easier by mulling it over. I am feeling quite the flummoxed. I am sure the answer is right under my nose it usually is. Btw. The skill and know-how to make a mod? I do not have that. I am just a Skyrim Fanboy. I absolutely love my modifications(when I do it right and I am All about the Lore, for reals. Many hours I have poured over the ingame libraries. Histories I like. The Theologies and enigmatic writings feel timeless. Books like the Locked Room(Morrowind or OBlivion?) or Immortal Blood (for sure I first read while playing OBLIVION) are so well done. Reread favorites. I have played Elder Scrolls Since Morrowind (favorite) and all the Musical scores, including Nehrim, Enderal. Recently went on my playlist and listened to Project Aho, and the Main Elder Scrolls theme, well, I was so overwhelmed with nostalgia{balled my eyes out actually). That's actually what got me to play The Elder Scrolls games again. Now you know. You're welcome. Anyhoo. Major respect for your work on this mod. Respond if you are still doing that with this mod. Otherwise keep killin it. I am going to figure this out regardless. Note. I often write to myself like this. Thought process, anlalysis, step work and occasional paralysis but today I'm saying it here, on your mod page(thundrous applause-- "please, you're too kind") although at this point I feel I've merely tired myself out and I'm clueless and I know the answer is there I just need to find it(and an antipsychotic elixir, perhaps a potion of calming or )and now I need a sandwich and a drink so I can put this all on chill-mode for a bit. Keep on keeping on dude. Thanks, G Ruff

I don't know what I'm doing wrong all I get is what looks like a transparent white overlay. I installed exactly as mentioned in the instructions.

I'm totally in love with this ENB. I've always wanted something like this for Skyrim. Thank you for sharing this :) One issue I've noticed is that distant water has bright flickering horizontal lines around the horizon/surface of water. I've confirmed it's caused by this enb by testing with no mods installed and the issue goes away if I hide and/or uninstall the enb. I also know that this is not the same as the flickering water issue that can occur if the user has too many frames (I have my FPS limited). It's instantly noticeable looking out at any large body of water (lake illanalta, sea of ghosts, etc.). Is anyone familiar with this issue?

Ouah! Thank you very much for this mod. the game remains magnificent with a "borderlands" aspect and as a bonus I scratch some FPS. Un nouvel adepte ;)
