Two teenagers have been charged with kidnapping and raping a classmate in a horrifying attack allegedly orchestrated by the victim's 13-year-old classmate.
El Salvadorian illegal immigrant Victor Antonio Gonzalez-Guttierres, 19, and Edgar Natanal Chicas-Hernandez, 17, were arrested after the victim told police she was grabbed while walking home from school on September 2, taken to an apartment and sexually assaulted.
She told the cops the pair were classmates who were classmates who claimed they were acting on orders from the younger female acquaintance, according to the Frederick-News-Post .
Court documents don't identify the female acquaintance, who repeatedly denied involvement.
Frederick authorities charged 19-year-old Victor Antonio Gonzalez-Guttierres (left) and 17-year-old Edgar Natanal Chicas-Hernandez (right), who's charged as an adult
It wasn't clear if any had lawyers.
'This is very, very rare in my experience,' said Detective Joe Palkovic of the Frederick Police Department.
'The violence of it and the nature of the crime, the fact that this involves someone laying in wait, kidnapping the victim and then taking her to a separate location to rape her, is very rare.'
On September 5, two police officers were called to a home near Hillcrest to speak to a female high school student about the alleged assault, according to court documents.
The girl told the officers that she was grabbed from behind by the hair as she was walking home after midnight on September 2.
According to the documents, the girl recognized two young boys from her class - Gonzalez-Guttierres and Chicas-Hernandez.
A third male suspect was with the other two.
They allegedly slapped the girl. One of them is alleged to have pulled a knife and cut the girl's chest.
Authorities say the three men took the girl's cellphone and dragged her to a nearby car.
They then told the girl that they were acting on orders from a younger female acquaintance.
The three men forced a rag into the girl's mouth and drove her to an apartment in the city, according to court papers.
Police allege that Gonzalez-Guttierres and Chicas-Hernandez took turns raping the girl over the course of a few hours.
The third suspect had his face covered and was not identifiable to the girl, she told police. She also did not recognize his voice.
He is alleged to have recorded the crime on his cellphone.
'The third, unidentified man mentioned in the charging documents has not been charged. ... As the investigation continues, however, we do anticipate there being additional charges in this case,' said Lt. Clark Pennington, commander of the police department's Criminal Investigations Division.
After the alleged rape, the three drove the girl back to where she was first abducted.
She was warned that if she notified the police, 'next time it will be worse.'
Despite the threats, the girl came forward and spoke to police.
Investigators also spoke with several boys who were contacted on social media by the alleged mastermind of the plot.
The 13-year-old girl who allegedly planned the crime is said to have revealed her role during social media conversations, which were obtained by police.
According to documents, the acquaintance contacted the victim's boyfriend on social media a few days before the attack, saying, 'She had someone who was going to rape and extort money from [the victim]. [The girl] asked if he wants to be part of her plan because it will be fun.'
Police said the boyfriend declined to participate.
She allegedly offered to show him the footage of the crime in exchange for '[one] night of pleasure.'
In her statements to police, the younger girl who allegedly masterminded the kidnapping and rape denied any role in the crime, saying that claims by the male suspects that they acted at her behest were false.
Gonzalez-Guttierres and Chicas-Hernandez are being charged with kidnapping, first-degree rape, sodomy, and first- and second-degree assault.
Though Chicas-Hernandez is a minor, the severity of the crimes prompted prosecutors to charge him as an adult.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement released a statement about Gonzalez-Gutierres, saying they have an immigration detainer out for Gonzalez-Gutierres: 'ICE encountered Victor Antonio Gonzalez-Gutierres, a citizen of El Salvador, at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center April 24 after his arrest on local charges and issued him a notice to appear in immigration court.
'Gonzalez-Gutierres posted immigration bond April 27. ICE has lodged an immigration detainer with Frederick County after his most recent arrest on criminal charges.
'ICE lodges detainers on aliens who have been arrested on local criminal charges when the agency has probable cause to believe an alien is removable from the United States.
'These detainers serve as a legally-authorized request, upon which a law enforcement agency may rely, to continue to maintain custody of an alien for up to 48 hours so that ICE may assume custody for removal purposes.
'Pursuant to ICE policy, all ICE detainers are submitted with an accompanying administrative arrest warrant or warrant of removal depending upon the circumstances of the individual case.'

The sickening footage, part of a grooming investigation which led to five men being jailed for a total of 27 years, will feature in a TV documentary on Sunday
This is the sickening moment a brutal paedophile puts the finishing touches to grooming a vulnerable 13-year-old girl.
The bewildered runaway has already been picked up off the street by three other cunning perverts who passed her from one to the other.
Now the youngster is in the hands of an evil abuser who kisses and hugs her at a hotel reception desk before leading her willingly away to a room.
But minutes after this CCTV footage was filmed, she was held down on the bed and raped by Shakeal Rehman, 26. He then made way for Mohahammed Shapal, 22, who also had sex with her in the same room.
Last month five men were jailed for more than 27 years over the youngster’s week-long ordeal .
But the chilling truth behind her case is now revealed by one of the senior police officers who interviewed her.
Supt Matt Fenwick said: “She has properly been groomed and she believes they love her. We know she is a victim, but she doesn’t know she is a victim. She is definitely not in victim mode.
He said paedophile targets like her “find it an exciting thing to do. They are mixing with older men. They perceive they are having a good time.
And when you’re interviewing her, she’s protecting these people. She doesn’t want to get into trouble”. He said she insisted she had not slept with any men.
His words strike at the heart of the Rotherham abuse scandal in which 1,400 children were groomed and abused by Asian gangs over 16 years.
And Rotherham is where the 13-year-old’s nightmare began after she ran away from her home in Sheffield.
As police persisted with their investigation, the scared youngster – called Marta in a BBC2 child abuse documentary to be screened on Sunday – finally told how she was picked up by a taxi driver in the South Yorkshire town.
Det Sgt Cath Ragheb, who also quizzed her, revealed: “She says she stays in the taxi driver’s bed, he’s saying to her ‘Oh you’re beautiful’, and ‘you’re lovely’ and starts kissing her. She says he’s sexually assaulted her four times.”
The cabbie left Marta at a bus stop with another man who promised to get her to Leeds. He called her “beautiful” and said he wanted to be her boyfriend.
She ended up in Bradford, and was picked up by a man called Shaz who took her home and molested her.
After he dropped her in the city centre, Rehman arrived in his car with Shapal and offered her help. He took her to the hotel and raped her.
Marta said: “He held me down so I couldn’t breathe. He raped me then. He was laughing all the time.”
She was then passed to Shapal who also assaulted her, telling her he loved her. She said Shapal was “kind’ and called her his “princess”.
DNA evidence revealed the semen of at least four men on her underwear and on bedding.
Rehman got 12 years for rape and trafficking. Shapal got four years for sexual activity with a child and trafficking while Yaseen Amini, 37, was jailed for five and a half years for the same offences.
Usman Ali, 21, was given three years for sexual activity with a child and Bekir Rasheed, 36, got four years for trafficking.
The Rotherham scandal broke after the BBC had filmed Marta’s case. A report said victims were ignored by social workers and police.
Deputy Chief Constable Andy Holt says lessons have been learned.
He admitted 10 years ago police would simply have returned a runaway like Marta to her parents or social services.
He said: “These days I think we recognise the phenomenon that actually sometimes the victims don’t recognise themselves,” he added.
But Marta has to live with the aftermath.
She said: “I am trying to forget what happened but I can’t. I want to warn others.”
Her father added: “My daughter will suffer her whole life.”

The woman was caught on camera screaming for help as other dancers seemed to ignore her cries
A WOMAN live-streamed herself crying and screaming for help as she was 'raped' in the middle of a packed dance floor.
The alleged victim was heard repeatedly shouting "no" and "someone please help me", but no one intervened.
The woman, who can not be named, had uploaded several live videos to her Facebook on Saturday night as she partied at Opera, a nightclub in Atlanta, US.
She posted five videos to the site the fifth showed the moment she was allegedly raped by a man she had been dancing with all evening.
In the shocking 12 minute video which has since been removed, showed the woman saying: "help me" repeatedly.
She then started to get louder, shouting "help me, help me, help me, oh god help me".
Terrified, she continues to yell "no".
In the footage there is a man seen with his phone, seemingly filming the horrific incident.
She screams and "please stop, oh god please."
At one point it's alleged that the man was heard saying "shh" and "baby" as she continued to cry and shout for him to stop.
In all the other videos, that still remain on her Facebook wall, feature the man in question.
Before the supposed attack, they were filmed dancing and laughing together.
The woman told him that she was celebrating her birthday and that she was by herself.
He asks her if she wants a drink, to which she explained she never drinks but she has had one for her birthday.
He is heard saying: "Have another for your birthday."
To which she requests something "sweet and with vodka".
Throughout the videos the pair dance, but she seems to get more intoxicated.
He calls her his "new best friend" and kisses her on the cheek.
But suddenly, the night takes a horrendous turn - leaving the club goer screaming in distress.
She released another video the following day on her Facebook page, thanking her friends and family for their support.
She said: "I don't even want to address the situation. I don't want to talk about it, but I'm going to be alright, I'm going to be ok.
She added: "All I want is justice, that's it. That's the game y'all"
The video was viewed by 957,000 times and became inundated with messages of support.
Eagle-eyed viewers claimed to have seen the man spiking her drink with a pill.
Police are investigating the alleged attack.

The first time Aminata Conteh-Biger was raped by her kidnappers, she was told that it was her fault for being too beautiful. Regaining consciousness and in severe pain, the then 18-year-old began to fear her own looks.
"I carried so much shame for being raped, I was told I was too beautiful. I was taught by my father that beauty is on the inside, I didn't know what [my captors] meant, I was confused," the Sierra Leonean from Beverly Hills, NSW, tells Daily Life.

"It was out of my control and it's hard when someone sees something that you don't translate in that way. I didn't understand what beauty was, I was extremely scared of it for a long long time."
When rebel militia stormed her village and ransacked her family home in Sierra Leone in 1999, Conteh-Biger had immediately been segregated from her family and community. The heavily armed fighters were known to murder parents of teenage girls to make abduction easier, and, seeing one rebel make a beeline for her, Conteh-Biger dropped her father's hand to protect him. It was the last time she ever saw him.

Her kidnappers had also taken her virginity, an act they would cement many, many times over the seven months she was held captive and used as a human shield during the civil war. In gunfights between militia and government forces, the teen was forced, more than once, to protect herself by crawling under dead bodies.
The now 36-year-old's life is one of four at the heart of new film, The Baulkham Hills African Ladies Troupe , about the journey of a group of Sydney-based refugees whose stories were turned from quietly suppressed memories into an internationally touring theatre production, featuring the women themselves.
From meeting playwright and producer Ros Horin through the Survivors of Torture and Trauma Assistance and Rehabilitation Service to emotional initial talks about a theatre project, the women emerge tri
