Custom Rom Flashing Guide for Moto G73 5G (devonf)

Flashing Custom Recovery:

Required Firmware:

Android 14 U1TNS34.82-12-7 or newer

Steps:

1. Unlock the bootloader.

2. Enable USB debugging.


Note : Any slot must not be empty, means if u have ever used blankflash or flashed stock ROM using RSA then make sure u got any ota. Else don't flash.


To flash custom recovery:

1. Connect your phone to the PC.

2. Power off the device.

3. Press the volume down and power buttons simultaneously to enter fastboot mode.

4. Open the command prompt.

5. Enter the command "fastboot flash vendor_boot" and select the vendor image.

6. Press Enter.

7. Reboot your device.

8. Use the volume keys to select "recovery."


For sideloading zip files (e.g. Magisk, custom ROM):

After flashing recovery,

1. Enter fastboot mode.

2. Use the volume key to select Recovery.

3. After recovery is shown, select the "Apply update" option.

4. Select either ADB sideload or external storage sideload.

- For ADB, connect the phone to the PC, open the command prompt, and type "adb sideload (select zip)."

- For external storage, select the file location and flash.

5. Format data (must for those who are flashing for the first time).

6. Reboot the device.

Note:- If you're flashing Any Rom for first time, you must Format Data before sideloading ROM.
