Gaster’s pants wouldn’t button, who knew a diet consisting of mostly sweet snack foods, takeout, late nights sitting at a computer and little physical activity could make you fat! Luckily, Asgore’s into that, very into that.

Gaster’s face contorted one day as he tried and failed to put his work pants on. Sure, they hadn’t been fitting properly for the past month but he just chalked that up to washing them. They were always a little tighter out of the wash. But this was like nothing he’d experienced before. The ends wouldnt even meet around his… belly? Since when had that been there?

Gaster paused and his eyes went straight to his midsection, lifting up the turtleneck revealed softness, a little belly that stuck out, he leaned forward and it scrunched up, creating rolls. ROLLS?? Since when did the ROAYAL SCIENTIST GET FAT?? Experimentally, without much thought he straightened out and put a hand to it. It was impossibly soft, his hand pressed into the fat at his waist and smiled a bit. He didn’t know why he was enjoying it as much as he was. Both hands now experienced something he never really had before. He had been very thin for most of his life. He never knew how good it felt to squeeze your sides and have something to hold onto. what were those called again? Asgore had them, Gaster held onto them during sex. He smiled as he remembered the affectionately named, “love handles,” he had to agree. Pinching, jiggling, slapping, his exploring went on, little did he know, someone else was watching him experiment with his new chub.

“Wingdings…” Asgore said, smile in his voice.

“ASGORE!?,!.?:?:!:” The scientist jumped and pulled his sweater down as far as he could. “H-HI GOOD MORNING MY LOVE… H-HOW LONG HAVE YOU UM… BEEN THERE??

Asgore chuckled gently, red hot blush on his cheeks. “Long enough to see you finally discovered that little secret of yours.”

“Yeah, you didn’t notice for the longest time. I was beginning to think that head really wasn’t attached to that body.” He walked over slowly, still blushing.

“You knew?!” Gaster asked and Asgore nodded.

“Knew a few weeks ago… I’m your husband! I know how your body feels against mine and it felt a little more… ample. Oh stars I love it Wingdings please… don’t get rid of it.”

The king’s soft begging made another round of blush appear on the scientist’s cheeks.

“But h-how did this… happen?” He asked quietly, voice barely there.

“Your habits, some of which I’ve tried to get you to stop. The long nights, the snacks, the takeout, the inactivity. Come on Wingy~ you’re a scientist, you should know what happens when you indulge yourself too much. You’re also…”

“You’re also not.. getting any younger. Your metabolism is likely, um, slowing down, making.. putting on weight easier…” Asgore stumbled over those words, his face burning.

Gaster bit his lip, lifting his shirt up to expose his belly. “So I… can get bigger?” He asked sheepishly. To which, Asgore nodded. Gaster shivered.

“I can’t… you’ll hate it… and then I’ll just be fat and old-“

“Nonono… baby!” Asgore hugged his beloved Gaster. “Look at me! How could I ever judge you. I’m bigger than you’ll ever be. Plus I-I find bigger people attractive as well. S-so be… be as fat as you want. I’ll always love you, and you always give me a b-“

“Asgore!!!” Wingdings Gaster hid his face in the king’s shoulder, hugging him close. “Thank you… I think… I’ll try it. It’s nice to be a bit more substantial.” He patted his belly.

Asgore’s hand snaked around to squeeze the bit of fat just above his hips. “Love handles!” He giggled, as did Gaster. Asgore felt as though they were teens again, exploring each others bodies.

“Is this why you’ve been touching my stomach so much?” Gaster asked. The king nodded, almost embarrassed.

“I couldn’t help it! My Wingdings! Finally after so long, putting on some weight. I was elated.”

That made Gaster blush. “H-how… much… do you think i should gain..?”

“Lets not think about that honey… just enjoy the journey. Stop whenever you want to.” Asgore lovingly held Gaster close, both men smiling to eachother. Gaster never felt more supported than he did in those moments with Asgore. He felt on top of the world. Now, the only problem was, he needed bigger pants.
