Cute, bold, and hot instalove story in the middle of the summer games! Quinn is back to doing what he does best as a personal trainer to one of the world’s top tennis players. Rory is back in the swing of things after her accident and is ready to take on the competition. One spontaneous moment in a hot tub leads to a promising and passionate future for these two wonderful characters who are both looking for a second chance! So sweet! ** spoiler alert ** She longs to win the gold, he is getting over a bad break up. One steamy hot tub night creates an instant love. Will she accept who he is? I loved the fact that he built her up when she was second guessing herself. I loved when she decided not to let anything hold her back. Quick, steamy read.
This is my fist book by Krysta Fox good read. Quinn and Rory love story is so good. Can’t wait to read more books by her.
QUINN by Krysta Fox is the fifth book in the multi-author Bad Boys of the Summer Games series and this time out it is the world of women's tennis in the spotlight. This story is about Rory and Quinn. Quinn is a personal trainer who is in a bad place after having his last relationship, who he thought would be the one, turn out not to be. So instead of picking himself up he is out partying at the clubs each night and being hungover in the mornings. Luckily for him his best friend Joe, who is also a personal trainer, has the thing to put him back in the game, "...training one of the most famous athletes in the world for the biggest competition of her life." Quinn jumps at the opportunity and three weeks later he is in Tokyo with his client, Anya Gerard, and her coach. To say Anya is a challenge is an understatement and Quinn would have left a while ago if it were not for the fact that Joe got him this job. Rory is a tennis player who has worked hard to overcome a major shoulder injury that resulted in her being out for most of the year. She had only been chosen to go to the games late but she was feeling good and excited. When she is at the first practice with her coach everything is going well until the end when she hears a familiar cackle laugh from the next court. It is Anya and she is trying to get into Rory's head. To Rory she feels that Anya always wins and always will, even as her coach tells not to pay any attention to her competitor. Later that night Rory is in the hot tub at the aquatic center all by herself, just relaxing and floating. That all changes when she is dragged out of the water by a big and strong man thinking she was maybe dead or drowning. Well hello handsome....Rory meet Quinn and Quinn meet Rory. What happens next will make things way steamier than the hot tub and makes your toes curl. But it is also sweet and lovely besides hot and wet. There is a connection between Rory and Quinn that ends up taking an interesting turn the next day just before Rory's first match. It will propel her though and soon she is realizing that she may have been defeating herself all along where Anya is concerned. Two weeks later a the finals will tell it all. This was a really enjoyable story with two fantastic characters. There are also some really fun supporting characters that add to the story-line. My only issue is that the book could benefit from another visit to a good proofreader, as there were a number of really easy to spot errors. But even with that I enjoyed the book and found it to be a wonderful addition to this series.
After tennis practice and hearing her adversary picking on her again, Rory slips off to the hot tub to relax the tension away. As she starts to float under the water, hands grab her and drag her out of the hot tub. Quinn had a bad day dealing with Anya and her attitude, so he was just heading for the hot tub as well when he thought someone had died or fallen asleep and drown. About to give the woman mouth to mouth, she moves and stops him, saying she is fine. Quinn and Rory start a relationship steamy and quick, finding someone they could really fall for. The next day they find out how small their world really is as he is the trainer for her adversary, Anya. The characters are terrific, with great side stories and intense feelings. I be everything at the Olympics is notched up quite a few degrees. The storyline has some tense moments but the relationship turns really strong when both Quinn and her coach form a team of support around her. Loved the ending and all the friends in their lives. Who knew enemies could deliver you your happily ever after. Not the enemy themselves, but somebody else. Rory & Anya are enemies so to say. Definitely not friends. But due to Anya’s break up with her trainer a new trainer gets brought in. Enter Quinn. Quinn can’t stand Anya. But what can he do? Unbeknownst to him Rory is another tennis player. He falls hard and fast for her. She healed a part of him that was broken. Rory has no idea that Quinn works for Anya. But she’s falling for Quinn. Things get a little messy once they find out. But all is well in our HEA. Both Rory & Quinn make a couple you want to hang out with. A definite must read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Rory’s dream is finally coming true she is a tennis player for the Olympic summer games and is going for the gold. Quinn’s best friend offers him a chance to be a trainer for the summer Olympic games and he happily accepts. Quinn meets Rory and sparks are all over the place. But when Rory finds out that Quinn is training her competition will they both go their separate ways, will they give each other a chance and see what happens, will Rory bring home the gold and Rory. This is such a cute instalove about the Olympic summer games. It is a fast paced, easy read, great characters and entertaining. I received an ARC via Booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving my review
