Cube Solver – Privacy Policy

Cube Solver ("the app") solves 3x3, 2x2 and 4x4 puzzle cubes, teaches how to solve them, and includes a speedcubing timer.

Camera

The app uses your camera only while you are on the scan screen, to read the colors of your cube. Images are processed on your device in real time. No photos or video are saved, uploaded, or shared.

Data stored on your device

The app saves your settings, your solve history and your timer times on your device so you can see them later. This data never leaves your device, is not sent to us or anyone else, and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

Advertising

The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address, and general usage and device information to show and measure ads, and in some regions to personalize them. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), the app asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings → "Ad privacy choices". You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings.

No accounts, no purchases

The app has no sign-up, no account and no in-app purchases. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location or files.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this same address with a new date.
