When you enter Tortuga for the first time, you automatically get the most important person on board - the captain! All captains have the same initial combat characteristics, which will be randomly upgraded by 15 units every day, but like any person, they are not eternal. Having reached the maximum age, the captain will want to leave your ship and settle on a firm ground, leaving you some of the trophies they accumulated while serving faithfully on your ship. The number of trophies depends on how actively you took part in trading and exchanging trophies for piastrs, as well as on participation in game activities and PvP battles. A ship without a captain will not sail anywhere, so when you visit the port, you will immediately receive a new captain and can continue your journey!
