I got misgendered yesterday as a matter of fact almost everyday. I guess that’s were my own struggles come from. The other night a sweet 5 year old little girl came to me with love and admiration. She said. You are so beautiful but why do you sound like a boy. I said thank you princess. Well that’s my voice and I love my voice. She said ok and said it’s ok you are a girl but you sound like a boy. She then gave me a huge hug and didn’t leave my side the whole night. Those are the moments that make me not hate my male traits. I still don’t present as female on my everyday. It’s a constant struggle that I put on myself. I can go ahead and do it but my own fears stop me. One day I will fully be there. And that day I won’t look back. On this day of remembrance all I have done is be grateful while being sad for all the lives lost so that one day we will all be able to be free and live our lives without hate. @transisbeautiful @transtipsfortranspeople @transgenderadvice @transbodypositivity @girleuphoria
