General Tips with Minimal Spoilers
Playing with bonuses is going to make it more difficult to get the bad endings, yes.
=Alone= is incorrect (maybe cause I choose the "with bonuses" option ?). I had to choose "Say nothing and leave" instead of "Ask Mrs. Smythe how to stabilize a person". Otherwise you don't get the "Answer honestly" selection.
Great guide. Got all the achievements just a little bit ago. This game has given me a creepy attraction towards obsessive women and I gotta say I'm a little bit salty about it.
Thank you. Note that the playthroughs could be optimized by saving & loading at the right moment, for instance "Caretaker" and "True Ending" only differ by their final choice. So do "Alone" and "Happiness" (which are also the same as "Caretaker" until the choice to "Sleep with Lizzie" or "Convince Lizzie to wait"). At the end of "True Ending" I got a choice about a tree, I don't remember which one I chose but that unlocked the last achievement (the one for unlocking the entire gallery). You may want to save here in case you pick the wrong one and don't want to redo the playthrough (although, if you optimized Caretaker and True Ending, you'll already have a save at the choice right before that one). Last but not least, I didn't need to complete the "Saving the Lab Partner" path to get all achievements
TY for posting this Guide. The Gallery tips were especially helpful - Cheers
Glad it was useful to you! Yandaquel makes Lizzie less violent, but Nihlazine makes her more rational - you'll note she's more subdued in the scenes influenced by that drug. This period gives her some perspective when she goes off the medicine that leads to her making better decisions.
Thanks for posting this. I never would have seen some of the endings if I hadn't read this. And I would have wasted time trying to get some non-existant psychiatrist ending that I read about in a discussion on Steam somewhere. I don't get how the Nihlazine is the drug that gets the better endings. If anything, I would think that making her more focused would make her more insane. I would have kept trying to give her Yandaquel and never gotten the true ending.
Used the other medication, basement route, convinced Lizze, fair ground murders, and ran away. Happiness ending. An odd way of getting it
It's just sad though that a "Sakura" game (two or more extremely stupid girls who are so thin they are basically anorexic while apparently having double D breast size but apparently, they are fighitng over one of the last few men on Earth 'you' to apparently have as much sex as possible. Also, throw in a stupid and bad plotline to say that you are not just rehashing the same game over and over.) will end up making far more money than your company while the world would like a "Ecchi Sketch", "Dear Esther" or your game suffer into the bargain bin and mostly ignored when it shouldn't have been.

A Visual Novel by Sierra Lee , about the relationship between John, a clinically depressed boy, and Lizzie, a girl with some issues of her own .
Notable for playing most tropes dead straight . As such, the game is as much about romance and knives as it is about psychiatry, medicines, their side effects, and how our mental state shapes our vision of the world.
Available on Steam and similar platforms.
A short sequel was released later, titled Crimson Gray: Dusk and Dawn . Its story is told from Lizzie's perspective, and deals with her attempting (and possibly failing) to adjust to a normal life. Tropes from this sequel will also be listed below.

Lizzie Doss is a primary character from Crimson Gray . She's the yandere for John.
Lizzie has been subjected to KoiTec's testing of new, dangerous drugs. As a result of the tests, she became unhinged and bitter towards people. John talks to her for the first time one day when apologising for a couple of guys talking about how creepy she is.
Lizzie is obsessed with John. Since he was the only person who was nice to her, she developed a romantic attachment to him. She starts following him everywhere and leaving notes and gifts in his locker. When she learns that he didn't like the Confession Tree, she burns it down. When he confronts her about her recent behavior, she confesses her love for him and promises to "help" him or take him home where she can take care of him. She is absolutely best girl and getting any ending other than the one where you run away together is tantamount to betraying her, and you're scum if you do that. Lizzie just wants to love you and defeat your demons together, be nice to her.
