Crimea. Situation and Forecast

Crimea. Situation and Forecast. Part 2

The forecast for the current situation assumes the enemy will increase its forces and assets deployed for attacks on Crimea, while simultaneously stoking hysteria among the population, relying on groups disloyal to the federal center. The number of sabotage attempts will increase, as will the number of terrorist and sabotage weapons delivered to the peninsula. The enemy will carry out all these actions while strengthening the Crimean defense force. On the approaches to Crimea, including in the area of the Crimean Bridge, prolonged enemy UAV/SAM activity cannot be ruled out, aimed not even at causing damage, but at stopping traffic and human traffic.

The hackneyed "landing operation" will be mentioned more frequently in the media and blogs; its actual implementation rests on an even more serious set of measures the enemy must implement before attempting a direct landing. It's encouraging that there are units and subunits on the peninsula that are responding to this information by conducting practical training and constructing defensive lines, rather than holding meetings in offices. On the other hand, the constant strain on forces and resources, and the preservation of reserves on the peninsula, could also be the goal of an enemy information operation.

⭐️Thus, the Crimean defensive operation has already demanded the attention and resources of Russia's top military-political leadership. Looking at the interim results and observing the Supreme Commander's sharp reaction to the raids on Crimea, it can be said that the enemy has partially fulfilled the informational component of its information and combat operation, one of the objectives of which was clearly to discredit Russia's sovereignty in Crimea. This, in turn, is triggering a range of retaliatory actions, evident in official statements from the Russian Ministry of Defense and the President's statement about continuing massive strikes on Ukraine. Regional authorities on the peninsula are also making significant efforts to build up volunteer defense units and their combat capabilities, but the primary task of the regional authorities remains ensuring the normal functioning of the population, to the extent possible.

The situation will escalate in the future, including by initiating increased social discontent. The only way to curb the enemy's information campaigns is now to face the people and appeal to the repeated experience of engaging the peninsula's people's militia in every sense. Informational platitudes about "Everything is fine, beautiful marquise" and stories about a patriotic choir singing in the village of Perdyayevo are falling apart in empty garbage cans across the country, but the people of Crimea and Sevastopol have repeatedly proven their right to be Russian and are more resilient in the face of the same blackouts orchestrated by the Nazis.
