Byelik-Zolotaryova Nataliia (born in 1957, Krysyne village of Bogodukhovsky district, Kharkiv region).

Honored Artist of Ukraine (2002), Professor (2004), PhD in Arts (2011).

Winner of the I. Slatin municipal award (2004) and the "Person of the year 2004".

EDUCATION

1976 – finished Kharkiv secondary special music boarding school.

1981 – graduated from I. P. Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv Institute of Arts (class of professor A.A. Miroshnykova,)

1984 – completed an assistant internship in P.I. Tchaikovsky Kyiv state Conservatory (class of hero of Ukraine, People's Artist of  Ukraine, professor L.M. Venedyktov)

CAREER

She started her professional career in 1976 as a singing teacher and the children's choirmaster in a secondary school in Podvorky village of Derhachiv district, Kharkiv region. Subsequently, N. A. Byelik successfully directed the choir of the Kharkiv mechanical technical school (1978-1979), the children's choir of the Kharkiv secondary special music boarding school (1981-1982), worked as a choirmaster of the Kharkiv chamber choir (1980-1982) and the student choir of the conducting and choral faculty of the Kharkiv Institute of arts(1989-1990). Since 1981, she has worked at the I. P. Kotlyarevsky Kharkiv Institute of arts (nowadays Kharkiv National University of Arts) as an assistant, since 1984 as a choirmaster of the opera studio, and since 1986 as a chief choirmaster.

CHOIRMASTER OF THE OPERA STUDIO

During her work with the opera studio (1989-2009, 2012-nowadays) she has staged choral scenes in 30 operas, including “Eugene Onegin” by P. Tchaikovsky, “Lyubov' k tryom apel'sinam” (“The Love for Three Oranges”) by S. Prokofiev, “Utoplena” (“The Drowned Maiden”) by M. Lysenko, “Tsarskaya nevesta” (“The Tsar's Bride”) by N. Rimsky-Korsakov, “Dido and Aeneas” by H. Purcell, “Zaporozhets za Dunaiem” (A Zaporozhian (Cossack) Beyond the Danube) by S. Hulak-Artemovsky.

A significant contribution to the art of choral performance is the concert performances of the opera studio choir under the direction of N.A.Byelik in the best concert halls of Kyiv, Kharkiv and Poltava. Large-scale compositions of J.S.Bach, L. Beethoven, A.Salieri, G.Verdi, A. Bruckner, K. Orff, D.Shostakovich were performed at a high professional level for the first time in Ukraine and Kharkiv, as well as numerous choral compositions a cappella written by D. Bortnianskyi, M.Verbytskyi, M.Lysenko, P.Tchaikovsky, S. Rachmaninoff, G.Sviridov, Y. Falik, V. Stetsenko, M. Skoryk, H. Havrylets.

Byelik N.A. was appointed as a choirmaster of concerts of honored artists and artistic teams of the Kharkiv region in Kyiv in 2001 and 2004. Under the direction of Byelik N.A. the opera studio choir successfully participated in international and national festivals, concerts of sacred choral music, such as “To the 2000th anniversary of the birth of Christ” (2001) and others. In addition to this, the choir took part in celebrations dedicated to 350th anniversary of Kharkiv. Her emotional conducting style is an essential part of an artistic image contributing to the perfect interpretations of compositions performed by the opera studio choir under her leadership. Among her graduates are People's Artist of Ukraine M.A.Honcharenko, Honored Artist of Ukraine O.Chumak, professor V.V.Tusheva, PhD in Arts, docent O.M.Batovska, docents Y.M.Ivanova, I.V.Verbytska, O.V.Khalieieva.
