Creative Project Manager
Digital nomads. Work from anywhereCompany: Benjamin's Agency
We're hiring a project manager to run photo and video projects for two of our clients. About 10 hours per week to start. Contract role, with room to go full-time within a year if it's a strong fit. You'll handle the client, the schedule, and the team that makes the content.
ABOUT BENJAMIN'S AGENCY
We're a small, fully remote content agency. We make photo and video for well-known consumer brands in beauty, fashion, jewelry, and lifestyle across North America. We have a few full-time team members and a bigger network of trusted freelance photographers, videographers, editors, and designers we hire per project.
We don't do high-volume agency work. We focus on fewer clients and go deeper on each one. Right now we're growing, and we need project managers who can take the day-to-day client work off the founder so each client gets real attention.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is one job that combines three things: project management, video shoot coordination, and client account management. You'll be the main person for 2 of our clients, handling every stage of their work from monthly planning to shoot day to final delivery.
The role is fully remote. You won't be on shoots in person. You'll run them from your desk through Slack, phone, Notion, and Frame.io. Your job is to make sure the right people are booked, briefed, on time, and delivering what the client agreed to.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
Client Relationship Management
You'll be the main contact for your assigned clients. That means running weekly 30-minute check-in calls (over Zoom or Google Meet), presenting monthly content plans, getting their feedback, and turning what they say into clear next steps for our team. Once a month you'll send them a short performance update. Day to day, you'll handle their messages over email and Slack.
Creative Project Coordination
Once a content plan is approved, you'll turn it into an actual schedule. You'll set up tasks for our team in Notion (the project management tool we use), write clear briefs for editors and designers, send revisions back to the right person, and keep every deliverable moving. When a client asks for a change, you'll know whether it fits the agreed scope, how long it'll take, and how to tell them.
Video Production Management (Remote)
You'll coordinate every shoot from your desk. That means booking the studio, the photographer, the videographer, models, locations, and any vendors. Writing the call sheet. Confirming call times the day before. On shoot days you're on Slack and phone, making sure call times are hit, talent shows up, and everyone has what they need. When a model is late or a backdrop arrives wrong, you handle the call from your desk and keep things moving.
Content Quality Oversight
You'll do a quick quality check on every photo and video before our Content Lead does the final approval. You're looking for obvious problems: typos in captions, wrong supers, color that looks off between shots. Once approved, you'll build a clean Frame.io review link for the client and deliver the final files in the right format with the right naming.
System Improvements
We run almost everything in Notion and we're always automating more. If you see something that wastes time, we want to hear it. Suggest fixes. Suggest new automations. Bring opinions about how the work should run.
WHO YOU REPORT TO AND WHO YOU WORK WITH
You report directly to Kyle, the founder. You'll work with our Content Lead (who reviews creative quality before client delivery), our photo editor, our video editors, and our freelance photographers and videographers. The team is small enough that you'll know everyone by name within a week. All collaboration happens through Notion, Slack, Frame.io, and email.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You're a strong candidate if you've spent at least 2 years managing photo and video projects from start to finish for consumer brands. You've coordinated shoots remotely (booking crews, briefing them, running them through phone and Slack on shoot day). You've written briefs and given feedback to editors and photographers. You've sat in weekly client check-ins and translated vague comments like "make it pop more" into clear next steps. You're comfortable in Notion (or similar tools like ClickUp or Asana, and willing to switch).
You can run client relationships on your own without needing a founder or senior on every call. You catch small mistakes other people miss, like a missing super on a video. You can coordinate 5 vendors for one shoot from your desk without losing track of anyone. Your written and spoken English is at a native or near-native level (our clients are premium brands and expect polished communication).
Required:
* At least 2 years managing photo and video projects end to end
* Direct client communication experience (you've led weekly check-ins, monthly reviews, scope conversations)
* Comfortable coordinating shoots remotely (you don't need to be on set to keep things on track)
* Comfortable in Notion (or similar tools, willing to switch fast)
* Online during North American business hours, minimum 9am to 2pm ET overlap, full overlap preferred
* Native or near-native English in writing and speaking
* Detail-oriented, proactive, takes ownership
Nice to Have:
* Experience with Frame.io for review workflows
* Background working with beauty, fashion, jewelry, or lifestyle brands
* Familiar with Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar (for context only, you won't be editing)
* Worked with North American clients before while based internationally
COMPENSATION & HOURS
Remote contract role starting at $30 USD per hour.
Expected hours: 5 to 10 per week per client, two clients per project manager. That's roughly 10 to 20 hours total most weeks. Some weeks are lighter, shoot weeks and post-production review weeks are heavier.
Every new hire starts with a short paid trial: 1 hour per day for 3 days managing one client to see how you operate. If the trial fits how we work, we move forward and add the second client.
