Creative Biography Olena Malinovska 

Olena Viktorivna Malinovska has been working as the Head of the senior members of Strumochok Choir since 2000.

Olena Viktorivna uses creative approach in her work, interestingly and professionally conducts not only choral classes, but also music theory classes. She uses new forms and methods of work, listens to the performances of various creative groups, as well as finds new musical works to expand the repertoire of the senior choir. For more interesting and vivid performance of choral works she arranges choral scores. Lessons are marked by mutual understanding between the teacher and children, good discipline. Ms. Malinovska demonstrates love for children, interest in the further development of musical taste and professional skills of students.

In 2007 at the 1st Regional Festival-Competition of Sacred Music "Ave Maria" Olena Viktorivna was awarded the diploma of the best conductor of the choir.

In 2015 senior members of Strumochok Choir recorded a double disc, which included the best works of Ukrainian contemporary and folk music and spiritual, modern and children's music from the choir's repertoire.

The choir, led by Malinovska Olena Viktorivna, regularly participates in International, All-Ukrainian, regional and city choral singing competitions, always winning prizes.

- 2003 – received diploma at the 9th International Festival of Children's and Youth Creativity "Spring Kyiv Sings" ("The best reproduction of the style of choral work").

- 2006 - winner of the 14th International Festival of Sacred Music "Mighty God" in Mogilev, Belarus (1st degree diploma).

- 2007 - Laureate of the 14th International Festival of Choral Music "South Palmyra", Odessa (3rd prize).

- 2008 - Grand Prix of the 12th International Festival of Children and Youth Creativity "Stars of the Polish Autumn" Paczków, Poland.

- 2009 - graduate of the 2nd International Choral Festival, Chisinau, Moldova.

- 2011 - Diploma of the winner of the 18th All-Polish Carol Festival, Korosten.

- 2012 - Silver diploma of the International Choral Festival, Gdansk, Poland.

- 2012 - Grand Prix of the 1st International Choral Competition "Cantus" Kavarna, Bulgaria.

- 2012 - 3rd Regional Festival-Competition of Choral Music "Ave Maria". Diploma for 2nd place.

- 2013 - Winner of the 8th International Choral Competition "Prague of Mozart" in the nomination "Children's Choirs" Czech Republic, Prague.

- 2013 - Winner of the 8th International Competition "Mozart's Prague" in the nomination "Sacred Music". Czech Republic, Prague.

- 2014 - a graduate of the International Choral Festival "Voix du monde" in Nancy, France.

- 2015 - Gold diploma in 5 categories, 1 prize in the category "Children's choirs", the main prize "Best team of the competition" in Lloret de Mar, Spain.

- 2016 – received diploma of the International Choral Festival "Spring Voices" Budapest, Hungary.

- 2017 - 37 International Children's Choir Festival "Georg Friedrich Handel" Halle Germany, diploma "Best Choir of the Festival".

- 2018 - received diploma of the 54th International Choral Festival in Montreux, Switzerland.

- 2019 - Grand Prix of the First International Choral Competition "Musica Orbis" Prague, Czech Republic.
