DESCRIBED by award-winning film director Steven Spielberg as “magic”, the Paris-based Crazy Horse high-kicks its show, Forever Crazy, to Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and Canberra this year.
Celebrating 65 years of Parisian glam, Australian audiences will experience the tantalising Parisian cultural phenomenon with the show featuring the best acts from the legendary cabaret show.
Forever Crazy is a series of highly aesthetic and visual performances presented by a multicultural cast of 10 classically-trained dancers, dressed only in textured lighting and projection. And not much else.
The effects are so extraordinary that it is hard to determine where skin ends and the reflections begin. The result is a unique show that engages the mind as much as the eye and has been referred to as “a Parisian cultural phenomenon not to be missed”.
The Forever Crazy show was conceived in 1951 as a tribute to Alain Bernardin, the founder of the Crazy Horse. The show preserves the cabaret’s artistic heritage while adding a touch of modernity, humour, sophistication and mighty sexiness.
Performances are accentuated by original music and stylish costumes tailor made for each dancer. In the last 65 years, Crazy Horse Paris has collaborated with world-renowned French fashion designers including Paco Rabanne, Loris Azzaro, Karl Lagerfeld, Emmanuel Ungaro, Azzedine Alaia, Alexis Mabille, Alexandre Vauthier, Chantal Thomass. Celebrity shoe creator Christian Louboutin has personally designed the dancer’s iconic red-soled shoes, making Forever Crazy a night of world-class opulence.
The French press has hailed Forever Crazy as “ ... spectacular!” while the likes of Steven Spielberg hailed it “Magic!”; Jean Paul Gaultier has said “I am crazy about Le Crazy, always and more than ever” while Christian Louboutin says it is “an iconic Parisian monument to dance” and “a modern and dreamlike conceptualisation, celebrating women in honour of women”.
Over the past 65 years, Crazy Horse Paris has drawn over 15 million patrons among them celebrities including Elizabeth Taylor, President John F. Kennedy, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, Jean Paul Gaultier, Pedro Almodovar, Sting, Beyoncé and Rihanna.

The way a person views something is pretty subjective. What some people deem as crazy photos, others will view as totally normal. Our minds are amazing at playing tricks on us and it’s only when we take a closer look at the finer details of a photo that they often look very different than they do at first glance. Take a look at these 18 interesting photos for example. Many people will think that due to what they think they see they’re fake but actually they’re all completely real!
We love photos like this! Easily explained, the men are actually lying down/leaning on the floor. However, these types of images are good fun!
