But in this movie, I have to show a lot of my body since my character’s starting a new career as a pole dancer, so I’m definitely more conscious of what I’m putting in my body and working out. I was a ballerina for 10 years growing up, but I stopped. And so when I got offered the role in this film, I was thrilled because it required two months of training learning West Coast Swing. And it’s a partner’s dance. And you can dance it to a lot of different music , from classical and jazz to hip-hip and country. It’s really fun because you have to trust your partner. And for the competitions in the movie, lots of sequins, lots of little tassels hanging off and glitzy and run, really fun. I had the best time on that movie.”
