Однажды читатель оставил под одной из моих статей комментарий, упрекнув меня в том, что я не пишу о центре Керетаро и его окрестностях, а этот город имеет объекты внесённые в список всемирного наследия ЮНЕСКО. Я задумалась, почему? Это вернуло меня в прошлое.
Действительно, город-то красивый. А я перестала этого замечать! Когда я в первый раз оказалась в Керетаро, я бродила по улочкам в центре города и наслаждалась атмосферой «мексиканской Европы». Мне нравился этот город намного больше по сравнению с городом Мехико, который выглядит как обычный мегаполис, но местами бедный и опасный. Керетаро тогда мне показался совершенно другим.
Но после жизни здесь и поездкам по другим колониальным городам, у меня просто замылился глаз. Я перестала видеть всю красоту этого города, для меня это стало привычным делом. И только уезжая в далекие южные города Мексики, я начинала удивляться, что они далеки от колониальных стандартов, к которым я привыкла.
Что ж, какой Керетаро на самом деле? Возможно, если вы читали мои статьи, вы видели разные части моего города. В этой статье я покажу сам исторический центр.
Полное название города — Сантьяго-де-Керетаро. Этот городок находится в штате Керетаро, примерно в трех часах езды от столицы Мехико. Керетаро считается одним из тихих и спокойных регионов Мексики с высоким уровнем жизни.
Мне очень нравятся атмосфера центра города. Здесь прекрасная архитектура и чувствуется частичка Европы: мощеные улочки, разноцветные дома, множество церквей и храмов вокруг. Многие фотографии я делала во время изоляции, поэтому улицы такие пустынные.
Главным символом города считаются арки — Акведук Аркос (El Acueducto De Queretaro исп.). Эти арки были построены в 1735 году, чтобы таким способом поставлять в город питьевую воду. Сейчас арки очень популярная достопримечательность для туристов.
Центр города считается безопасным местом, здесь можно гулять вечером и даже ночью. Именно в центре устраивают все праздники, народные гуляния, шествия. Когда я была здесь на День Независимости Мексики, народу было столько, что невозможно было протолкнуться! Все таки узкие улочки вокруг дают о себе знать.
Керетаро мне кажется очень уютным. Маленькие дворики, веранды кафе и ресторанов, старые машины - все это создаёт впечатление маленького неспешного городка, в который хочется не раз еще вернуться. Я же здесь живу и порой не замечаю эту красоту вокруг.
Многие мексиканцы считают Керетаро самым красивым городом Мексики. Я думаю, в этом есть доля правды. Город очень аккуратный, чистый, спокойный. Я заметила, что в каждом мексиканском городе своя особая атмосфера, которую ни с чем не спутаешь. Поэтому многие люди влюбляются не в саму архитектуру города, а в его некую сущность.
В Мексике есть множество других колониальных городов не менее интересных, чем Керетаро. В следующих статьях я постараюсь рассказать и о них.
