Cracking the Coding Interview

If you are thinking about passing an interview to companies like Yandex, Facebook, Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and others, where you will definitely be given tasks on algorithms and data structures, do not be lazy and prepare properly.

In my opinion, it's better to start with a wonderful book by the former Google developer Gale Lakmann McDowell called Cracking the Coding Interview http://www.crackingthecodinginterview.com

The book has already survived six editions and is a classic for preparing for interviews.

Further I strongly recommend to read not less known The Algorithm Design Manual by Steven Skiena https://www.springer.com/gb/book/9781848000698

You can read Cormen, of course, but everything is written in too academic language there.
