Privacy policy — Coverkit: Social Studio

Applies to: the Coverkit: Social Studio Android app (com.gexetr.coverkit), published on Google Play. Last updated: 2026-10-21.

The short version

Coverkit keeps your cover projects on your phone. It creates no account, runs no analytics and uploads nothing you design. The only time the app touches the internet is when you buy or restore the one-time unlock, and that payment is handled by Google Play.

What the app stores, and where

The app stores the projects you build: destination size, layers (photos you pick, text, stickers), the optional brand kit (logo URI, colours, font names), and the preferences you choose in Settings. All of it is written to the app's private storage on your device. Photo content stays as URIs or files you chose through the system Photo Picker; the app does not upload those photos. Uninstalling the app removes the local records from the device.

If you turn on Android's own backup for this app, the operating system may copy the app's data to your Google account so you can restore it on a new phone. That copy is controlled by Android and by your device settings; it is not something the app does itself, and we never receive it. You can turn it off in Android's settings at any time.

What the app does not do

  • It creates no account and has no login.
  • It contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDK and no tracking.
  • It does not use generative AI or send images to an AI provider.
  • It asks you for no broad gallery permission: photos enter through the system Photo Picker.
  • The bundled Google Play Billing library declares INTERNET and ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE so that Play

can complete the one-time purchase, which is the only reason the app uses the network; nothing you design is uploaded.

  • Exports leave the device only when you tap Share or Save and choose a destination yourself.

The one-time purchase

The unlock is sold through Google Play Billing. When you buy or restore it, Google Play — not this app — processes the payment. Your payment instrument is handled entirely by Google Play and never reaches the app. The app receives only the result: which product you bought and whether you are entitled to it. Google's handling of your payment and account data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Play Terms of Service.

Play Billing reports the purchase record — the product identifiers you bought and their entitlement state — and the app keeps that entitlement on the device so the unlock survives a reinstall. That record belongs to your Google account, not to us.

Children

The app is a creator tool and is not directed at children. It is not in a child-directed programme.

Your choices and deletion

  • Every project and brand-kit value the app stores is yours to edit and delete inside the app.
  • Uninstalling the app deletes everything it stored on the device.
  • Because we hold nothing about you on our servers, there is nothing for us to delete on our side. If

you have a question, write to the address below.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated text is published at the same address with a new "last updated" date, and the version shown inside the app is updated with it.
