Courteney Cox Isn’t Afraid to Go Au Naturel! See Unfiltered Photos of the Actress With No Makeup

Friends alum Courteney Cox has aged beautifully throughout her acting career. From her ‘90s television sitcom days to her horror movie franchise fame from Scream , the actress continues to promote self-care and natural beauty by wearing no makeup whatsoever. And she’s not afraid to share unfiltered photos of herself on social media.
“Ate my way through Disneyland,” Courteney captioned one Instagram video in June 2021, featuring shots of her eating various treats in the theme park, such as cotton candy, a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar and a giant turkey leg. She appeared to have gone makeup-free for the day out in sunny Anaheim, California.
While she embraces her bare skin, Courteney has also admitted to getting plastic surgery due to pressuring societal standards. In a February 2022 interview with The Sunday Times , the former Cougar Town star explained her reason for undergoing cosmetic enhancements.
“There was a time when you go, ‘Oh, I’m changing. I’m looking older,’” she said. “And I tried to chase that [youthfulness] for years. And I didn’t realize that, oh s—t, I’m actually looking really strange with injections and doing stuff to my face that I would never do now.”
In addition to her plastic surgery regrets , Courteney also mentioned that “the scrutiny” of attention around her appearance is “intense, but I don’t know if it could be more intense than what I put on myself.”
Previously, the Shining Vale producer and actress opened up about removing her lip fillers in a separate interview with New Beauty in 2017.
“Well, what would end up happening is that you go to a doctor who would say, ‘You look great, but what would help is a little injection here or filler there,’” Courteney noted. “So, you walk out, and you don’t look so bad, and you think, no one noticed — it’s good. Then, somebody tells you about another doctor: ‘This person’s amazing. They do this person who looks so natural.’ You meet them and they say, ‘You should just do this.’ The next thing you know, you’re layered and layered and layered. You have no idea because it’s gradual until you go, ‘Oh s–t, this doesn’t look right.’”
Once she realized that the surgery was unnecessary, the NBC alum described her mindset on aging and her changing physicality.
“Things are going to change. Everything’s going to drop,” Courteney added. “I was trying to make it not drop, but that made me look fake. You need movement in your face, especially if you have thin skin like I do. Those aren’t wrinkles — they’re smile lines. I’ve had to learn to embrace movement and realize that fillers are not my friend.”

It looks like Coco Arquette isn't a fan of mom Courteney Cox 's latest look.
As part of an April Fools' Day prank , the 56-year-old actress posted a video of herself rocking some false fangs to Instagram. "So, I was at the dentist getting my teeth cleaned, and I just thought, 'I'm so bored. I want something new,'" she said before flashing her grin. "So, what do you think?" 
The Friends star then recorded reactions to her toothy trick, starting with the response of her longtime love Johnny McDaid . 
"Oh Jesus!" the 44-year-old Snow Patrol singer replied. "F--kin' hell."
Her 16-year-old daughter, who Courteney shares with her ex-husband David Arquette , also didn't seem thrilled when she got a FaceTime call. 
"What the f--k is going on?" Coco asked. "I don't know. I don't like this." 
However, Courteney didn't let these answers bring her down, joking to her fans, "I like them!" She also played Muse 's song "Supermassive Black Hole," which was featured in Twilight , in the background.
Several of her celebrity pals got a kick out of the video. "Coco's reaction is [laughing emoji]," Reese Witherspoon wrote in the comments section. And Poppy Delevingne seemed to suggest Courteney topped everyone on April Fools' Day, posting, "And the winner is…..!!"
Courteney has 10.4 million followers on Instagram. And whether she's posting a performance with Coco , whipping up recipes or recreating moments from Friends , the Scream celeb always has something new for her fans.

Friends star Courteney Cox was known for her type A personality when she played Monica Geller on the hit comedy, but it seems that she must've also kept that same anal mentality when it came to her skincare regimen. No, we don't know for certain her secret to anti-aging success, but we're only guessing she was diligent with the moisturizer considering these makeup free images show that the 55-year-old actress has barely aged 25 years since the show first aired in 1994. It turns out we're not wrong. In an interview with New Beauty in 2017, the star shared that she gets a facial from Mila Moursi once a week and always uses "a peptide of some sort." Her philosophy when it comes to ingredients: " I want natural, but not too natural. I want it to work. I don’t want to just use plants and water." Well, it seems to be working. Don't believe us? Courteney Cox is giving Friends fans all the feels with her latest Instagram post, sending them on a trip down memory lane, and drawing parallels between herself and Monica Gellar.
It all started when she set up a fake tennis match between CC and CeCe. Loyal fans know that these are the two nicknames she has for herself, and it quickly became apparent that this fun and sarcastic video depicted Courteney Cox in a match against... herself! Fans just can't separate her identity from that of Monica Gellar, and there were many Friends episodes that quickly flooded the minds of her fans.
The video itself was as funny as it gets. Courteney hit the court with an epic matchup against her alter ego.
One version of herself, seemingly the 'Monica,' was very confident and seemed ready to slam the tennis ball with ferociousness.
The other version of Cox appeared visibly stressed, yet determined, and her face was covered in beads of sweat as she gave this match her all.
This was all set to the sounds of The Eye Of The Tiger, and the build up was epic. The ball was whipped and the competition was very real.
So were the nostalgic Friends memories that came rushing back...
Courteney had a feeling this video would embarrass her daughter, and hysterically captioned this Instagram post by saying; " CC vs Cece #courtonthecourts #embarssingmom #sorrycoco .
Her fans didn't think this was embarrassing at all - in fact, they thought it was pretty fantastic. Even without trying, Courteney Cox still oozes Monica Gellar vibes, and she is unmistakably still closely connected with the legendary role that she played on the sitcom.
Friends fans just can't get enough.
There are a series of episodes that resembled this fierce competitiveness; two of which immediately resonated with her fans.
One was the episode called; The One With Chandler's Work Laugh , during which Monica Gellar was playing tennis against Chandler's boss and his wife. She was so competitive that she was eventually forced to throw the game to keep Chandler in the 'good books' at work.
The other episode that fans connected this video to was The One In Barbados, where she faced off against Mike in a fierce game of ping pong.
Fans were quick to make mention of these connections as they flooded her page with comments such as; "it’s like Barbados all over again!" Another fan wrote: "Winner gets a Geller cup," which referenced the touch football match in The One With The Football.
Other comments included; "Courtney vs Monica Gellar!" as well as; "CC is totally giving me onica vibes in the episode where she’s playing tennis against chandler’s boss 😽," and "haha this is hilarious! thank you for making my day with this." and "thank you for the Monica vibes! We love you!"
