Kate Hogan is Director of Digital Specials and Features at PEOPLE. In her 14 years at the brand, she has covered everything from pets and babies to style and Sexiest Man Alive, interviewing celebrities including Céline Dion, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson and Chris Evans. Currently, she oversees the creation of photo galleries that complement breaking news and major PEOPLE moments like The Beautiful Issue and 100 Reasons to Love America. In May 2022, Hayley Kiyoko and former Bachelor contestant Becca Tilley revealed they’ve been in a relationship for four years. After appearing in Kiyoko’s Bachelorette -themed music video , “For the Girls,” Tilley confirmed the news by sharing an Instagram reel of pivotal moments from their relationship over the years. “Hard to say if this is a hard or soft launch, but it’s a launch,” she wrote in the caption . Kiyoko replied to the post, writing , “The best four years ever. I love you becca ❤️.”
The Selling Sunset star confirmed her relationship with Australian singer G Flip during the season 5 reunion episode, which dropped on Netflix on May 6. “I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that’s very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They’re nonbinary, so they go by they/them,” Stause told episode host Tan France, per People . “And they are an extremely talented musician.”
Stause told France that the pair hit it off while filming a music video together. “It started because I was just going to be in their video. It’s about this chaotic love story,” Stause said. “I come from soaps, I love acting. And with the job that we have, I don’t always get to do it. At first of course I was like, ‘Yes, let’s do that.”
She added, “It was so much fun, we had such a blast. Not everyone’s going to be ready for it, but I think it’s great. I think it’s amazing, the song is amazing.”
On April 29, Katie Holmes was photographed kissing celebrated musician Bobby Wooten III during a cozy stroll in Central Park. Wooten was also pictured hugging Holmes’s mom , Kathy Stothers-Holmes, which makes us think the couple must be pretty serious.
The West Side Story couple confirmed their relationship on Valentine’s Day. On February 14, Zegler shared a selfie with Rivera on Instagram , captioned, “committing valen-crimes.”
After rumors began to swirl that Hunter Schafer was dating her Euphoria season two costar, Dominic Fike, the pair seemed to confirm their relationship in February. Fike posted a photo of himself and Schafer kissing to his Instagram Story on February 10, writing, “Happy birthday happy birthday.”
Well, this isn’t exactly a new couple. A source told Entertainment Tonight that Ashley Benson and G-Eazy have “reconnected” one year after their February 2021 breakup and are feeling “hopeful” about their relationship.
“Ashley and G-Eazy have been spending a lot of time together and talking a lot since G-Eazy’s mom passed away,” the source said in February 2022. “They have always had love for each other and reconnected after his mom’s passing. It’s been difficult for him since losing his mom and has been leaning on people who know him best, and who he feels comfortable around, which includes Ashley.”
The source added, “They have been getting a lot closer again and are hopeful about the future of their relationship.”
“Anna has been dating Bill quietly for over a year,” a source told People in January 2022. “They met years ago. She’s hosted Saturday Night Live and they’ve done a movie together, but they got together well after the movie.”

Let’s skip to the good part! As different TV shows continue to tease explosive couples on screen, there comes a time when the only next step is commitment.
During season 3 of Nancy Drew , fans got to see Nancy ( Kennedy McMann ) battle her feelings for Ace ( Alex Saxon ), which she thought were unrequited. Toward the end of the season, Ace expressed his love for Nancy, but their happily ever after ended up doomed because of Temperance ( Olivia Taylor Dudley ).
Following the shocking finale, showrunner Noga Landau opened up about finally exploring the connection between the pair.
“We just felt like it was about time. We felt like we’d earned it. People have been waiting, the characters have been waiting, and it just felt really organic,” she told TVLine in January. “It also felt totally organic to then move into a story line where their love is very much star-crossed.”
Nancy and Ace seemed to find happiness together, until a shocking twist revealed that it was all a simulation . According to showrunner Melinda Hsu Taylor , Nancy’s knowledge of what could have been would continue to haunt her into season 4.
“To her, the experience of being responsible for Ace’s death in a car crash was very emotionally real to her. That’s going to be quite the deterrent anytime she even wants to give him a look that she wouldn’t give to a platonic friend,” Taylor told Entertainment Weekly that same month. “Her mind is so regimented that she will train herself not to let him know how she feels, which is going to convince him all the more that something’s going on, because he knows Nancy wouldn’t be one day about to kiss him and the next day like he’s just somebody she barely knows. It’s going to live in her mind in a really real way and influence a lot of her actions.”
As fans awaited news of season 4, Landau revealed that the emotions would be kicked up an extra notch for the hopeful couple. “Season 4 is going to be a season of intense yearning for both of them,” she added to EW . “It’s only ramping it up even more, for sure. For me, this show is always about the simmering love and yearning — for multiple characters, but especially for Nancy and now for Nancy and Ace together.”

During the first part of season 4, Nancy and Steve seemingly rekindled their feelings for one another while trying to take down Vecna. Ahead of Volume 2, fans are waiting for a proper reconciliation — provided that Steve survives the battle against the show's newest villain.
After The CW renewed Nancy Drew for season 4 , Nancy and Ace's romance continues to be on everyone's mind. Temperance's curse may prevent Nancy from acting on her feelings for her best friend — but it doesn't seem like Ace will stop digging for the truth.
Even though the pair will obviously get together, the anticipation continues to grow. Season 2 will follow Anthony ( Jonathan Bailey ) as he enters a courtship with Edwina ( Charithra Chandran ) while trying not to act on his passionate chemistry with her older sister , Kate ( Simone Ashley ).
The ABC series may have been renewed for season 2, but fans are still holding out hope that the pair will make their connection official before that.
