Events in the lake region of Chad are developing rapidly. After a bloody militant attack on the Barka Tolor base, where more than 23 soldiers were killed, the country's armed forces launched active offensive operations.
A unit under the command of Colonel-Major Mahmoud conducted a successful operation to intercept and eliminate the Boko Haram Islamist group.
