San Diego Comic-Con is perhaps the biggest convention of the best cosplayers in the entire world, with thousands of fans preparing in anticipation every year. It combines both pop and geek culture while encompassing many genres and media, shown in the cosplay costumes. This year, Comic-Con took place between the 19th and 22nd of July and was celebrated by thousands of fans, geeks and cosplayers .
Cosplay is the practice of dressing up as a character from a book, movie or video game, most of whom come from the Japanese genre manga or anime. The best cosplay outfit is usually nominated in some way so Comic Cons might get a tiny bit competitive.
While most people get excited about the various trailers that drop during the event, or appearances by their favorite celebrities , others use the opportunity to show their cosplay ideas and skills by dressing up as their favorite characters. The most detailed cosplay outfits always receive a lot of attention from fellow character fans. Just as the last year , we have compiled a list of the best cosplays from 2018 Comic Con. Scroll down below to check out the best anime cosplays and don't forget to comment and vote for your favorites!

The outfit/makeup blue match is stunning.
That is some talent and dedication! Great workmanship on the electric vehicle too!
This is so Deadpool. And an idea for the next Deadpool Funko!
I wonder how long it took her to get all this done.
Looks a bit like he wears the curtain that used to be full of doxies. :D
and we still get crappy CGI monsters in movies
Wow! This is amazing, should be higher up! :D
This almost looks like a cartoon...excellent picture and even better pose!!
Is this not the original costume? Cuz it sure looks like it
Seriously, her eyes are mesmerizing
Awesome! All that's missing is the poodle & Todd.
LMFAO THE CHANCLETA !!!!! That is the icing on the awesome cake
I love this one--especially the sword and shield.
OMG she looks JUST like her in the actual movie!
talk to the hand cuz the receding hairline ain't listening
You guys know this is Mark Hamill, right?
Damn if I had her body I'm pretty sure I'd dress like this everyday she looks amazing
Hope he wears this outfit when he visits Comic Con in Korea this August
Blebding the chin was easyer cause of the stubble. Had trouble with the nose cause the hotel had really bad lighting.
Boobie Fett? Sorry, I had to go there.
still looks better than the last movie
Where's the baby now? I can see he's thinking about it...
Maybe she should chop them off just to please you?

Oh my god! I'm such an original MMPR fan this just blew my mind!!!!!!!!
Incredible make up and costume detail!!
Hell Yes! Amazing Costume! Picture does not do it justice.
do not under estimate the power of the ches..dark side....
The girl next to Darth Vader is the Seventh Sister of the Inquisitorius from Rebels. She's amazing too!
Only need colored lenses, and it would be much better.
If you look fast, it kinda looks like Benedict Cumberbatch on the left.
All of my friends said I looked like Tracer... before I dyed my hair pink (I'm not a big fan of Overwatch so I'm happy the comments stopped)
And Sylens, her humorless father figure. Great detail and gorgeous work! Aloy's clothing and accessories get wacky by the end, but the style is always beautiful.
Kinda looks more like the steampunk lookin guy in Hellboy
Love the detailed eyes, looks evil.
it's more a orc from warcraft i think
Left to right... Diego, Lucy and Magnus from the graphic book Timeless, Diego and the Rangers of the Atlantic by Armand Baltazar

As a writer and image editor for Bored Panda, Giedrė crafts posts on many different topics to push them to their potential. She's also glad that her Bachelor’s degree in English Philology didn’t go to waste (although collecting dust in the attic could also be considered an achievement of aesthetic value!) Giedrė is an avid fan of cats, photography, and mysteries, and a keen observer of the Internet culture which is what she is most excited to write about. Since she's embarked on her journalistic endeavor, Giedrė has over 600 articles under her belt and hopes for twice as much (fingers crossed - half of them are about cats).
I think Con Costumes > the real deals. There's always touches, illusions, allusions and nods to all the stuff you love about the character. It's almost a love letter in some cases. You can see the devotion and gratitude for a character or story. Life sucks so very hard sometimes these characters and stories give us respite and you can just SEE that gratitude in so many Con recreations. Good good stuff man. *sniffle*
I love going to comic-cons... the costumes that people come up with, especially ones that are homemade are fantastic! The details and the time they put into them are usually amazing!
It was HOT that weekend (for downtown San Diego)!! Some of these costumes are heavy and made of non-breathable fabrics - I don't know how these folks do it.
These cosplay costumes are just stunning!

Whether you’re looking to attend the big Comic-con in San Diego, or a local geek convention in your area, I’m sure you’re looking for some cosplay ideas to do. If so, then you’re in the right place!
Is it okay to dress up as characters not from comic books? Of course! Because not everyone wants to be a superhero; some of you guys want to be Anime or video game characters at Comic Con too! Trust me; there are tons of cosplayers at Comic Con who don’t cosplay from Marvel or D/C.

Rey is the main character of the new Star Wars trilogy. She is pretty easy to cosplay, and well recognizable! I included Rey on this list because she’s relatively easy to dress up as, and perfect for an easy cosplay ideas for Comic Con!
And don’t forget that you don’t have to cosplay a specific character. For example, you can always do your own version of a Jedi!
An iconic character in the Spider-Man universe and his love interest, Mary Jane Watson is an easy cosplay ideas for Comic Con choice if you’re looking for something more casual to do. She doesn’t require any special armour or suit. Mary Jane Watson is just regular clothes and maybe a wig, depending on your hairstyle.
You either love or hate Deadpool! But one thing is for sure; he’s a popular character. So you’ll get a bunch of reactions with a Deadpool cosplay. Ever since the movie was released in 2016, Deadpool has been very popular, especially at Comic Cons. So you’ll have no problems with anyone not recognizing who you are.
Why not dress up as one of the most beautiful and badass Avengers cast? Black Widow is fairly easy to cosplay!
An interesting character to say the least, Scarlet Witch is another awesome Marvel cosplay that’s fairly easy to pull off. All you need is a dark red leather jacket and top, and black pants/skirt and boots!
This cosplay idea is best done in a group because it’ll be easier for people to recognize you in a trio rather than solo. But in any case, The Powerpuff Girls are a classic heroine trio that must of us loved when we were little! The Powerpuff Girls are a great easy cosplay ideas for Comic Con!
The most notable character from Life is Strange, Chloe Price is a badass punk! Even though the game is a few years old now with several sequels, she’s still an iconic character who pretty much everyone will recognize.
Pair your Chloe up with a Max Caulfield or Rachel Amber from Life is Strange, and you got yourself a nice duo/couple cosplay .
He’s the Juggernaut bitch! One of the biggest and baddest best Marvel cosplay villains, the Juggernaut is probably not for everyone. But who doesn’t love the Juggernaut?
Jigglypuff, much like Pikachu, is an iconic Pokémon characte
Mature Asshole Fisting
Spreading Legs Woman
Naked Adventure
