Jin Jong-oh, a member of the People's Power who runs the "Sports Corruption National Information Center," said in a media interview on the 10th, "There is an internal report that the process for appointing Hong Myung-bo was not fair," adding, "Based on the data and evidence, we will raise the issue at the upcoming questionnaire on the 24th."

Earlier on the 29th of last month, the National Assembly's Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee summoned key officials of the Korea Football Association to the National Assembly in September to shoot at the controversy over the appointment of the Korean national soccer team coach.

As a result, the list of about 10 witnesses and reference witnesses has been selected, including Chung Mong-kyu, president of the Korea Football Association, Hong Myung-bo, coach of the national soccer team, and Lee Im-saeng, technical director of the Korea Football Association. They will be summoned to the National Assembly on the 24th after the Chuseok holiday.

The list of witnesses, which will consist of around six people in total, included Chairman Chung Mong-gyu, head coach Hong Myung-bo, board member Lee Im-saeng, former chairman of the Korea Electric Power Reinforcement Committee, and Park Joo-ho, former members of the Korea Football Association's power reinforcement committee. Leaders who served as temporary coaches for the national soccer team, including Hwang Sun-hong and Kim Do-hoon, were also listed as reference members, centering on those who formed the Korea Football Association's power reinforcement committee.

Earlier on July 8, the Korea Football Association officially announced the appointment of Hong as the head coach of the Korean national team.

The post had been vacant for five months since former coach Jurgen Klinsmann stepped down in February this year. The Korea Football Association promised to officially appoint a foreign coach within May, but the situation continued for five months.

The KFA, which had remained stagnant, hurriedly appointed Hong Myung-bo from the Ulsan HD team of the K-League as its head coach. Hong, who had initially expressed opposition to the nomination of the national team, reportedly took the helm after a two-hour interview with Lee Im-saeng, technical director of the KFA.

In the process, Hong was found to have been appointed without any preparation, sparking controversy over preferential treatment. In addition, the situation was maximized when Park Joo-ho, a former member of the Korea Football Association's power reinforcement committee, revealed the lax administrative procedures and the actual conditions of those who operate closed-door service through YouTube videos.

In consideration of the second consecutive Asian qualifying round for the North Korea-China World Cup, which will be held in early September, the Culture and Sports Committee finally decided on September 24 to summon those in question.

In the meantime, the Korean team led by Coach Hong Myung-bo played the preliminary match of the North Korea-China World Cup as scheduled. The first match against Palestine was a draw, and the second match against Oman on Saturday won 3-1. Before entering the match against Jordan in October, Coach Hong will stand once at the National Assembly to audit the team.  토토사이트 모음

Meanwhile, lawmaker Jin Jong-oh said, "There is evidence given by the informant and we are carefully reviewing the contents, such as cross-checking in various ways. If the public opinion must clearly address the issue, the informant may come to the scene with courage."
