Can you help us make climate understandable - through tools, games, and learning?
We’re looking for a volunteer Copywriter to join our team and help us turn complex climate topics into clear, engaging, and actionable language.
At Nordic Waves, we’re building a climate learning platform that combines:
* digital tools (like our Greenhouse Calculator)
* educational games (2D, and 3D/VR)
* collaboration with teachers and the scientific community
Our goal is simple:
→ make climate understandable
→ make it engaging
→ and make it usable in real-world learning
We’re a growing team of passionate contributors working across product, design, education, and science - and now we need someone who can bring it all together through words people actually read and understand.
What you’ll do
* Write social content across our channels
* Translate climate concepts into everyday language
* Support messaging for product launch and campaigns
* Help shape how we communicate climate - as a product, not a lecture
What you’ll help build
* The voice and tone of Nordic Waves
* A consistent messaging system and copy library
* The launch narrative for the Greenhouse Calculator and Educational Universe
* Content that builds trust, clarity, and engagement
What we’re looking for
* You write clearly and simply - not academically
* You can explain complex ideas in a few sentences
* You think in product, not just content
* You are self-driven and able to execute quickly
* You have experience with social, product, or web writing
* You have an interest in climate, learning, or systems thinking
Time commitment
* 3–5 hours per week
* Remote and flexible
