Cool webapps make it much easier to find Youtube music than ever
This is a story I wrote. I love deezer and spotify. I'm not able access enough music coming from abroad through these services. Amazon music/Itunes is an excellent alternative but they don't provide new and exciting hits until they are too old. I like di.fm or similar online streaming radio stations but they rarely play new cool tunes. Their music is available in one hour increments, which works perfect for parties, tunneling or throwing down.
Youtube is the reason I make use of it. Youtube is the only place that you can get music from any country. It's not just because labels share music on Youtube as well, but also due to all the music lovers who listen to new songs on the radio. Record the song, then save it as a video format and then upload it on youtube as video. You can even film yourself doing the new song and sharing the video. Many of these shares are viewed millions of times, and yet they aren't recognized by copyright claim services.
This lets you search for any older song on Youtube with a variety of copies. If I like the music, it's fine. I enjoy listening to tracks, purchase good copies and, truthfully I've not paid for music in many years. It's amazing to discover songs from the 80s, alongside music from the 90s and dance songs from 2000s on Youtube. Sometimes, I come across videos that state "this and that decided that you cannot listen to this track".. But that doesn't stop me from listening to it. I go to Flvto or Y2mate and search for mp3s there.

What is the process? It's as simple as typing your search. The site returns about two dozen results. Once I click on one of these results, it will offer me the option to download the YouTube video as an MP4 file or convert it to mp3. It's incredibly simple, and I don't need any technical knowledge. I get all the music I want on Youtube and can listen to it from home doesn't matter if videos stop streaming, I've got a time-shifted copy on my desktop ready for viewing whenever I want. Try mp3 fishing. It is quite amazing. It lets me bypass any restrictions Youtube has placed on my "country" and allows me to listen to music all over the world and even from Europe and Africa.
