When they're so much alike or almost identical, they're referred to as "cookie cutter" Like ppl who have the same haircut/ wear the same clothes, believe the same things - may be referred to as cookie cutter mentality, or cc fashion sense or when a school uses a cookie cutter style of teaching -- they'd teach everyone the same thing in the same way, not accounting for special needs, or exceptional children. Basically -- just the same old same old....
Describing something that is hackneyed, unoriginal, using the same formula, nothing new, etc. Just like a cookie cutter cuts out the same shape for a whole tray of cookies, I guess.
All the same, like cookies cut from the same cookie cutter.
1)The term cookie cutter is used to describe anything that is mass produced quickly and of low quality.
2) Predictable, Recycled, Not unique.
The same thing as a template: it's a design followed over and over again with no originality.
