Content Relevance Checker

Digital nomads. Work from anywhere

Company: Olive Tree Consulting Group

We are looking for someone to help us manage the quality and correctness of the information we use in our advisory work. As a Content Relevance Checker, you will review digital materials to ensure they align with the facts and priorities of our client projects. This is a part-time, contract position that is fully remote, making it a good fit for someone who values a flexible and focused working arrangement.
About the Role
In our advisory practice, we often deal with large amounts of information from meetings, interviews, and internal documents. This role exists to support our digital content efforts within our AI2 project division. Your work ensures that the digital summaries and records we create are not only accurate but also relevant to the specific management problems we are trying to solve. You will bridge the gap between raw information and the clear, useful documentation that our consultants rely on every day.
Because Olive Tree Consulting values clarity over complex presentations, this role is about getting the details right. You will be checking the outputs of automated tools to make sure they haven't simplified a point too much or missed a small but important detail. It is a task that requires steady focus and a high level of comfort with reading and processing written text for long periods.
What You Will Do
* Review and verify the accuracy of automated summaries against original transcripts or notes.
* Identify and correct inconsistencies in internal records to make sure ownership and decisions are recorded accurately.
* Flag any content that feels vague or disconnected from the primary goals of a specific project.
* Organize digital files and ensure that naming conventions follow our established standards.
* Provide feedback on where digital tools might be falling short in capturing the nuances of a conversation.
* Collaborate with the team to refine the way we document client work.
* Maintain a consistent rhythm of checking and updating records each week.
What We Are Looking For
* A high level of comfort with reading and analyzing written English for extended periods.
* The ability to spot small errors in logic or detail that others might overlook.
* A preference for clear and simple writing rather than complex or flowery language.
* A patient approach to repetitive tasks that require high levels of accuracy.
* The ability to work independently and manage your own schedule within the agreed part-time hours.
* A reliable internet connection and a quiet place to work, as this role is fully remote.
* A thoughtful mindset when it comes to following instructions and sticking to established processes.
Helpful Background
* Experience with academic research, proofreading, or fact-checking from school or personal projects.
* A basic interest in how management teams work or how businesses are organized.
* Comfort using standard digital tools like documents, spreadsheets, and basic task management software.
* A background in humanities, social sciences, or any field that requires careful attention to text and meaning.
* Prior experience in a remote environment or a freelance capacity.
What We Offer
This is a contract position that offers the flexibility to work from your own space. We provide a supportive environment where the work is respected and the expectations are clear. The compensation for this role is paid and is designed to be attractive and competitive for an entry level position in the current market. You will have the opportunity to see how a focused advisory firm operates and contribute to the quality of the work we provide to our clients.
About Olive Tree
Olive Tree Consulting Group is a focused advisory practice that helps leadership teams solve recurring management issues. We typically work on the space between strategy and daily execution. A team can have very capable people and still find that decisions keep reopening, priorities stall, or responsibility remains unclear. These are rarely personality problems: they are structural habits that have not kept up with the company's growth.
We favor practical changes over large-scale programs. Our work involves looking at how decisions are made, how meetings are run, and how ownership is recorded. We prefer useful written notes and clear ownership over polished presentations and vague alignment. Good advisory work should make things plainer and leave the team with a rhythm they can continue on their own.
The firm is built on the principle that memory is not a management system. We help teams create the smallest possible written record to support their work so that important follow-up does not depend on who was in the room or who has the best memory. The goal is a quieter management pattern that makes the existing work easier to lead.
