One week you might be building a bottom-up maintenance budget for a major operation. The next you could be analysing haul truck replacement strategies worth hundreds of millions of dollars, supporting a mining acquisition, designing executive dashboards, developing a capital portfolio management strategy or helping a client understand where millions of dollars of productivity improvements exist.
We're looking for someone who loves numbers, enjoys solving problems and wants their analysis to genuinely influence business decisions.

The Opportunity
You'll work directly with experienced consultants and client leadership teams to help solve commercially significant problems.
Typical projects include:
* Developing mining and maintenance budgets and forecasts
* Building financial and operational models
* Equipment lifecycle strategy optimisation
* Analysing operating costs and identifying improvement opportunities
* Creating executive dashboards and Power BI reporting
* Working with ERP and operational systems to produce meaningful insights
* Supporting capital investment evaluations and business cases
* Contributing to major mining transactions and separation projects
* Preparing high-quality client presentations and recommendations
We're Looking For Someone Who
* Has strong financial modelling and analytical skills
* Enjoys working with large datasets and turning them into meaningful insights
* Can explain complex analysis in a simple, practical way
* Is naturally curious and asks "why?"
* Takes ownership and enjoys solving problems independently
* Produces work they're genuinely proud of
* Communicates confidently with clients and senior stakeholders
* Thrives in a collaborative, high-performing team
Ideally You'll Have
* Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or similar
* Experience in mining, resources, heavy industry or consulting
* Strong Excel skills
* Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools
* Experience with budgeting, forecasting or management reporting
* Commercial acumen and an understanding of operational performance drivers
Experience with systems such as SAP, Pronto, Xeras, or similar is advantageous.
CPA, CA or CFA qualifications are welcomed but certainly not mandatory.
