Invitation for Bid for the
construction of preschools
Ayuda en Accion Ethiopia, registered as Foreign Charity Organization under the Agencies for Civil Societies Organizations of the federal democratic republic of Ethiopia now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified contractors/Construction enterprises; GC or BC grade 6 and above). Types and specifications of the preschools: One preschool construction work.

One preschool in Habe Dengazela Kebele at Belleakesa Kereyou primary school compound, Arsi Robe Woreda of Arsi Zone.
One preschool in Tiyo Hembecho kebele at Magetiyo primary school compound), Boloso Sore woreda of Wolayita Zone.
Each school will have one block with 3 class rooms and one office and two separate small blocks of ventilated toilet services (two and four seats) with proper and specific dimensions. All walls will be constructed through cement blocks, with proper foundations, floors, doors, ventilated windows, roofing with corrugated iron sheet, veranda, gutters, etc.

Requirements for bidders:

1. The necessary bid documents are required to be collected from Ayuda en Accion Ethiopia national and filed program offices.

a.At Addis Ababa (national office), located in Gerji, Sami Building 2nd floor room no. 201, around the former imperial Hotel, about 100 meters on the way to Gerji, both for Arsi and Wolayita sites applicants, tel. no. 0116670930,
b. At Wolayita Sodo field office. Located in Tonna Building, 2nd floor room no. 6800/6900/7000. Tel. 0974785637 for only Wolayita site applicants and who wants to submit at Sodo.
2.Bidders should have to present renewed trade license, valid for the year 2020, VAT registration certificate, TIN certificate, and at least two good work performance letters/certificates from the recent employer/client and fulfill all the requirements stated in the bid document,

3. The bid must be delivered wax sealed and addressed to Ayuda en Accion Ethiopia and submitted to Addis Ababa or Wolayita Sodo offices as stated above.

4. Bidders should be able to produce Bank CPOs for bid grant, advance and performance bonds as per the bid document guide,

5. Bid will be closed at 3:30 pm on the 10th (consecutive/ calendar) days of the announcement and opened at the same day at 4:00 PM on the same day in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives at Ayuda en Accion Ethiopia Addis Ababa and Wolayita Sodo Offices.

6. If the closing day is a public holy day, Saturday or Sunday, the opening will be carried out in the next working day at 10:30 am,

7. Ayuda en Accion Ethiopia reserves the right to cancel all or parts of the bid.
