Conspiracy theory of morbid pro-government camppeople - Zo Ding Shan
BeWaterWuhan pneumonia spreading oversea results to Sinophobia. Sing Tao Daily and South China Morning Post, which are pro-government camp newspapers, reported last week that a series of discrimination of Chinese happened in Canada and countries in Southeast Asia. Chinese is viewed as virus-carrieror sick people. Foreigners don’t know the difference between Chinese, Korean and Japanese of yellow people. It’s same as Hongkongers to meet white people. We are not sure they are American, Canadian or Australian. Thus, Canadian Asian grumbled, “ We are not Chinese!” In Southeast Asia, Asian can easily recognise who is Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian. The phenomenon of Sinophobia is quite obvious. Recently, Singapore is the most popular place for Chinese immigrants. Singapore citizens started a petition to reject the Chinese immigrant. The minister urged their people that Singapore still insists on being open.
The image of China in Southeast Asia is a large wealth and vulgar spirit. People like the money of China, but not Chinese. When Wuhan pneumonia affects Southeast Asia, people there they would like to be safe. They don’t want money and welcome Chinese to visit. Who made the Chinese unwelcome? Beijing has to chew this issue over. Although without money you can’t do anything, money is still not everything. Spending money in the railway construction and pipelines for power station can’t fully ensure to win the popular support. Soft power (value of moral, freedom of the press, freedom of academic, etc.) is still the most powerful way to win the support form people. China spent a huge amount of money in Southeast Asia. Soft power is still way lagging behind Japan.
Pro-government camp people worship money, are utilitarianism and admire power. They are bewildered by the power of CCP. They believe that CCP can manage the country, and the power of CCP can conquer everything. At the moment, China is fighting with Wuhan pneumonia and still in the underdog position. Pro-government camp people can’t take it anymore and needs to convoy. For showing the good side of China, they don’t think about how the Wuhan government concealed. The situation is out of control. On the contrary, everything in China is good. If a disaster happens, they will blame on the U.S. attacking China’s rising. Recently an anonymous article being circulated in a pro-government camp group is, “Why did the SARS in 2003 and Wuhan pneumonia 2020 happen before the revolution of forex rate and open-up financial market?” There is another article saying that In October last year 369 U.S. soldiers participated in the CISM Military World Games in Wuhan, and these U.S. soldiers didn’t win any medals, but travelled around for fun. On 3rd Jan, after the Iranian general was killed by the United States Armed Forces, there was a surge in the number of Wuhan pneumonia... and then it even pointed out that a retiree of U.S. Air Force, Metallicman, now living in China had a new post saying that U.S has both the intention and ability to start a bio-chemical war. The source of Wuhan pneumonia is mysterious, even suspicious…..
It’s unbelievable that Five cents in China and those old blue ribbons (including Emigrants in oversea) blame on the foreign force for the damage of Wuhan pneumonia in the tough situation of the epidemic, and the U.S. takes this opportunity to crackdown China. It even can’t say it is not morbid. Once people are blue (pro-government), their brains are disabled. Terrible!
