Congratulations KangOS

Today I am very happy to tell you that in between on many ROMs here. Our fellow KangOS is only rom that did what they always said, what they always looked at as goal and they are so passionate about it that they named their project on it. Yes my friend you are right, They kanged.

I know there is no happy moment rather than this. And I wanted to be the 1st to tell you about this. So my friends, I am here your host gonna tell you how they achieved this big achievement.

KangOS was just a name until the lead met our friend @ElectroPerf. Just like the name he gave a spark to the intentions of lead and took 1st step.

The first achievement they did is by kanging a private commit from HavocOS . The commit was for applock and somehow @ElectroPerf got access to the commit and the moment he got it. KangOS got fully working applock and then 69 other roms too.

Oh yes they helped the community but in meanwhile the lead was going to do same by doing the commit public but our KangOS was like "Meh u so slow".

And few days back one of my device maintainer posted an SS of KangOS stating he is getting official. And the Screenshot was this:

After looking at this.. I was like wew that header is same as ours and they managed to get the same. That's nice.

And yesterday I came to know that the source code of KangOS is leaked. And someone shared me the link of the org. While exploring that I came to the following commit:

This commit that they claimed to be their silky UI is a Kanged commit from OctaviOS. Ofc I cannot give u link to my commit but here are the Glimpse of it

And our friend @ElectroPerf was so busy in kanging whole changes that he didn't even looked at commit and he left a line that we added just to log the changes. You can see them here:

So now the question is if the commit were closed how they got access? The answer is @ElectroPerf joined octavi few months back by calling his contacts and DM'ng me to accept him as maintainer for x01bd. And later he left after a release. It might be someone else too. But that's what they know better.

And today when I aksed him about this he totally denied lmao. Claiming its Silky UI and its not from Octavi.

After all this I just want to congrats KangOS again for what they achieved
