Man, this was funny. A great parody of the spiderman song from the 60's. Sometimes I couldn't quite get the words, so I had to watch this 3 times to understand them, you should've added subtitles. Anyway, great film, and please make a sequel, something like "condom man v.s. the sinister seaman"
This was absolutely hilarious. The music not only sounded right for a spoof like this, but it had great lyrics. Don has done a great job here, I was laughing all the way through. I recommend that you watch this, when it says 'Mild Nudity', it doesn't mean that. Sure, the condom has no clothes on, but hey - who cares!?
la-la-laaaa-la-la-laaaa-la-la-la-la-la-la-la-la

In one scene, Barbara Carrera 's character is terrorized by Oliver Reed 's. A perfectionist, Oliver felt that Barbara's acting was wooden and not fully projecting the true fear her character would be feeling at that moment. Frustrated with her, he actually opened the door of the helicopter they were in and threatened to throw her out. The fear on her face is real. Getting the shot needed, Oliver shoves her back and then relaxes with a slight smile. In anger, Barbara actually elbows him painfully, which you can see in Oliver's face. But not wishing to sour the scene, he takes the punch, though his displeasure is plain on his face. (This little fight is in the film during the escape attempt from the ski lodge.)
Wire work is clearly seen above the Condorman suit flying over the Monte Carlo pier.
No ending credits. Just the "The End" phrase and the copyright notice.
Condorman,wow....the film that made a childhood. It was THE Easter/Summer/Christmas/Half Term movie of a generation. Back in the 80's this film was ALWAYS on TV in the UK. Now,you hardly see it, its a disgrace (to my knowledge the last time it was on was at 5am on a Saturday morning on BBC1).Kids today have no idea what their missing, this was superhero movie magic at its best.....no...really...it was. It starred Michael (Phantom,Some Mothers) Crawford as Woody, a comic book artist who turned into his creation (Conderman) in order to rescue the beautiful (when your 10) Barbara Carrera from the clutches of the evil Hannibal (played in ultimate OTT mode by Oliver Reed... What i find more upsetting is that this masterpiece isn't available for us in the UK (Video or DVD). So,why, with the current trend for making Comic Book movies at a high, does nobody take a chance and offer this classic a remake!! Think about it..its got to be better than Daredevil,The Punisher, Batman and Robin and as for Catwoman, don't get me started!!. Question is,who could replace the Wonderful Crawford,Reed,Carrera?? Well the part of Natalia (Carrera) could go to somebody like, umm, lets say Hilary Swank.........Hannibal (Reed),needs to be one mean SOB,so how about Vernon Wells (Bennett in Commando, bad guy,bad string vest, back moustache, perfick!) and last but by no means least the part of Woody Wilkins.....well Vin Diesel needs a Hit!!!! But i feel the acting part of the role may be too much for him, so lets get Jeremy Irons on board!!! COME ON Hollywood GET WITH IT!!!!!!

A boy and girl are making out on stage. The boy, as boys will, is trying to press the girl into having sex.
Suddenly, from behind the curtain leaps ... Condom Man!
He's wearing street clothes this evening -- this is only a rehearsal -- but come Saturday, when "The Adventures of Condom Man" opens at Steamer No. 10 Theatre, he will leap onto the stage wearing his Condom Man suit: white tights and spandex, a deep-blue "C" on his chest, a deep-blue cape to match and a condom mask and hat.
Yes, a condom hat. When Alonzo Verbal dons his costume, he looks as if he's wearing a condom on his head. And that's fine with him -- no, better than fine: It's important.
"I'm trying to save lives," he says.
Condom Man and the productions in which he appears are creations of Too Deep Entertainment, which bills itself as "Albany's black theater troupe -- educating while entertaining." Based at Steamer No. 10 Theatre on Western Avenue, the troupe isn't well-known outside the black community. It operates on a shoestring (ticket sales and a small grant from the state Department of Health ). Its website needs a makeover. And it has no well-oiled public-relations machine touting its accomplishments.
But it has heart -- and drive and direction. At its core it has Mark Bobb-Semple , who believes the purpose of theater, at least this theater, is to make people think, make them safer and make them better.
"Mark sees what is happening on the streets, to the people living in this city," says Ric Chesser , executive director of Steamer No. 10 Theatre. "He has the talent and creativity to teach, write and direct, nurturing ideas and performers until the ideas take shape and become a production.
"This city is incredibly lucky to have him working to bring some of the problems we face to light and get a discussion going on how to solve them."
Chesser's theater, a converted fire station, specializes in children's fare. But 10 years ago, Bobb-Semple was looking for space to put on plays by high school students. He rented Steamer 10 for a couple of productions. At the time, he was program manager for the Liberty Partnerships Program, a mentoring program at University at Albany for at-risk middle and high school students.
"Some of the high school students had tried out for a play at Albany High and hadn't made it," Bobb-Semple says. "They were all upset, and I said, 'What's the problem? Let's do our own thing.'
"I'm a firm believer in, 'Yes, we can.' And I said, 'OK, if we're going to do this, let's do it right. Let's do it with a message.' "
He got the students together and, under his direction, they created plays that dealt with what he calls hot topics -- gang violence, teen suicide, political apathy, sexual health. By 2002, some of his actors had graduated from high school and wanted to continue in theater. That spawned Too Deep Entertainment. The name came from the idea of addressing deep issues.
The troupe puts on six full productions each year -- four at Steamer 10 and one each at the Palace Theatre and The Egg. It also performs about 30 shorter shows -- ranging from 5 to 25 minutes -- in schools, parks and at events such as the Martin Luther King Jr. celebration.
Too Deep maintains a troupe of high school students called Urban Stage. And it conducts workshops, such as the fourth annual "Don't Gamble Your Life" teen conference (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 20 at Green Tech High Charter School in Albany) on prevention and awareness of sexually transmitted diseases.

Bobb-Semple sees his role as twofold. He wants to educate while entertaining, but he also wants to provide opportunities for young people of color to perform in theater in a nurturing setting.
Contessa Lee , a senior at Albany High, says it's like a close-knit family. Sakinah Smith , 21, says they're not only educating their audience but also educating themselves. Lorraine Harper , 21, says it's like a life-skills class.
And Condom Man? Verbal, 27, says he was the class clown at Albany High when Bobb-Semple told him: Hey, why don't you take some of that energy and put it on stage? Verbal hesitated but gave it a try.
"At the time," he says, "I thought only girls did theater."
After becoming a Too Deep regular, he took over the Condom Man role last year. When Condom Man debuted five years ago in a play called "9 Lives," it was a small part. The audience liked him so much that he quickly grew into the "superhero" and star of an annual production of "The Adventures of Condom Man." The story changes each year, but the theme remains the same.
In the process, Condom Man became a campaign. He appears at LarkFest and pops into Sneaky Pete's, the nightclub on Central Avenue, and other clubs, dispensing condoms and his mantra: "Wrap it up or die."
Before you say that's crude, Bobb-Semple says, consider these statistics from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention : While blacks make up about 14 percent of the U.S. population, they account for 46 percent of the HIV cases; the rate of new infections among young black males is seven times that of young white males, and the rate of new infections among young black females is 11 times as high as that of young white females; and, finally, 48 percent of young black females are infected with at least one sexually transmitted disease.
" 'The Adventures of Condom Man' is a very entertaining show, and it also happens to teach teenagers what they need to know in order to survive," says Chesser, of Steamer 10. "We put an immense amount of effort into teaching teenagers how to drive cars. We should put at least the same amount of effort into teaching them how to be in control of their hormones and their bodies. The consequences of failure are very high in both cases."
Verbal says he knows the message is getting across. After portraying an abusive husband in a play, he says, a man in the audience came up to him and said that his father had beaten his mother, and his grandfather had beaten his grandmother, and that he had no idea what a monster he had become beating his wife. He pledged to get help.
Verbal, who works as a senior child-care worker at LaSalle School , says that's just one example.
"The black community is in a state of emergency," he says, citing such factors as gang violence, drugs and the lack of father figures. "It's becoming a disaster. Somehow we've got to stop that."
And so he leaps onto the stage to make sure the boy and girl use a condom. And in another scene during rehearsal, he portrays a young man at a dance party. He's one of several actors, all in their 20s, and they're dancing and preening and acting real cocky.
Then a young woman walks on stage and tells her boyfriend she's just come from the clinic, and she's got HIV. A woman overhears and confronts the man. They've had sex. And then a man overhears and confronts the woman. They've had sex.
It turns out that everyone has had unprotected sex with everyone else, and they're all afraid they're going to die. They should have used a condom.
