THQ releases four screenshots of their action game Conan. It looks quite fine, and we hope the combat system will be as good. Anyway, the Conan universe seems to be very well transcripted. Kraken and sexy women people !

after Jaffe had the balls to make his game the way he wanted, other companies are trying to do the same just for the sake of sales. God of War is not just a game with nudity, it OWNS and would have done w/o nudity and could probably done it w/o the blood, cause the story is great and the gameplay is tick, this game just looks like its copying everything GoW had and doing it in a bad way. so lame
That there are people who are unfamiliar with Frank Frezetta's work, especially with The Conan Series. Nudity was a main staple in his work....this game is an omage to him as an artist.
Someone pointed that out Frank Frazetta was a great artist I was quick to judge the graphics too, untill I realized they were trying to pay Homage to this talented individual

Frank Frezetta and the Conan franchise are remarkable and unique works of art. If any one copied anything, it would be Jaffe ripping off Conan. The Conan story has been around since 1932 and was created by Robert E. Howard. Frank Frezetta was one of Robert's artists and was very popular. Frank's work definately helped Robert's story gain great popularity. @ Lord Anubis and Faelt Kratos, on the other hand was created by Jaffe himself. Kratos is a fictional character and is not a true Grecian mythological character. Thus, if you are going to accuse this as a Jaffe (God of War) imitation, you'd be wrong. There is no comparison and no legitimate comparison can be made because of their differences in artistic style and obvious differences in their origins.

I don't remember about conan going on a ship and battling a sea monster, I do remember that dude that turned into a snake. and that conan traveled with a couple other people and became king of the world, but battling epic monsters is not something i remember, what movie was that one? ah ok, not familiar with the comic book, just a couple of movies here and there, but i get it now

They are clearly following God Of War with its sex (nudity) and violence but they might miss the fact that what made GOW a classic was its deep and superb story/characters, its epic music and most importantly the great controls and gameplay. While all sexual and violent elements are welcome, I seriously hope they don't rely on them as the whole point of the game. Original Conan story was much more than that.
oh wow. Please end all comments saying Conan is copying God of War. Conan is very old it has dusty comics to it's name, countless books and 2 movies with Arnold in it. All of those actually came out well before GOW, well before.
We know that original Conan is much older than GOW and is a grand tale but the subject here is more like Stranglehold Vs Max Payne. Max Payne owes everything to John Woo films like Hard Boiled but John Woo's Stranglehold looks to be following Max Payne too much rather than creating something unique for master's work. Conan the Barbarian story also deserves a more unique take but THQ at least looks to be trying to cash in on the God Of War and 300 crazy with its mix of sex and violence and may miss the point of great story and settings from original material of Conan books.

I know about Conan comics and the fact that sex & violence are big parts of it BUT the old Conan books and stories were much more than this (Along with the trademark sex & violence). Also, even if THQ wants to follow the comics, they can't have the same sexual content in the game because they don't want an AO. (But an unrated Uncut Conan game based on comics would be totally welcome).
Trying to convince people who know the Conan story and art style that this video game is imitating the God of War "style" is a dead end. This video game is a tribute to the work of Robert E. Howard and Frank Frezetta. Frank's artistic style for Conan has always included such contexts as violence, sex, and primal desires. THQ is in it for the money and that's all. Of course they will try to capitalize on the current mainstream art style but this is no excuse for labeling it as an imitation to God of War or 300. Just leave the comparisons out of it.

The barbarian, and Conan the destroyer. THere is supposed to be a new Conan, called King Conan. That would be cool, its a shame Arnold is old now, he was the perfect person to play Conan. Awesome movies.
The only way to do KING CONAN justice is CG in the same way they are doing BEOWOLF. Since Arnold could still offer his voice work and not his actual self to the role...I think it could still be done. It will all depend on the success of BEOWOLF.

Being an aspiring illustrator I can appreciate what this title is doing, Hopefully the gameplay can deliver because I would really enjoy playing a Great Conan Game For once And if this doesn't do it, Maybe Beowulf will satisfy my inner Barbarian untill GOW 3 comes out YEAH BABY !
The last Conan slasher wasn't anything bad though if all you wanted was fairly mindless.In fairness the combat offered a bit of depth too and was perfectly well executed.A good solid 6/10

Yes, it's not really "AO" but there has been a "buzz" around the gaming forums for more adult oriented games. This might not be the pioneer when it comes to being a full fledged Adult Game, heck God of War had two half naked girls going at it. But it might be a step in the right direction.

Does Conan Exiles Have Full Nudity?

I have a burning passion for survival games, and I would really like to know, does this game have full nudity? Do they have underwear or are they completely nude? Rust used to be one of the best survival games out there but when the idiotic dev decided to add full nudity I decided to stop playing it completely. I hope I don't have to do the same for this game, but if it does have nudity I won't even bother buying it. I saw gameplay videos that showed them wearing like animal skins over their private parts, but I have also seen some youtube thumbnails with nudity, so I had to come here to ask.

Up to you - there are options for none, partial and full nudity.

You can set your own nudity settings to your preference. Default is none.

Oh yes indeed it does. I recommend swimming.

Full nudity / an option to censor via cloth.

Yes, it depends on the server owner. When the full nudity option is disabled you wear underwear, when the option is enabled you can choose at the character creation if your character wears underwear or if he is full nude. You can do this at the proportions where you can slide the endowment or breasts. Options are Full nudity, partial nudity(only breasts) or no nudity and as i wrote if the server dont allow nudity than it is only no nudity.
