INVITATION TO BID

To all contractors of category GC 6 or BC 5 & above with valid license for 2012 EC. Damota wolayita farmer cooperative union invites all eligible contractors of category GC6 or BC 5 and above and who would execute Mechanization Service Center (MSC) SNNPR and who would be financially and technically capable to furnish the necessary labor, material and equipment to undertake the execution of the aforementioned works.

Interested bidder should have: VAT Registration Certificate * Valid License for 2012 E.C. * Renewed registration certificate from the MOUDH. * Tax clearance certificate from Inland Revenue Authority.

The Bid document can be purchased from Damota wolayita farmer cooperative union Town/City: Wolayita soddo Telephone: 0927 000160 (046 551 0642) or 0911 86 04 40 Facsimile number: Beginning from the first announcement date on the newspaper until 21 consecutive days upon a payment of non refundable fee of Ethiopia Birr 500.00 (Five Hundred birr only).

The bid documents should be submitted in one original and two copies. The original and copies of the technical bid documents shall be sealed in separate envelopes and marked “Original Technical Document” and “Copy 1 & Copy 2 of Technical Document” respectively, and the three envelopes shall then be sealed in an outer envelope marked: “Technical Document”. Similarly, the original and copies of the financial documents shall be sealed in separate envelopes and marked “Original Financial Document” and “Copy 1 & Copy 2 of Financial Document” respectively, and the three envelopes shall then be sealed in an outer envelope marked: “Financial Document”. Then the technical and financial documents shall then be sealed in mother envelop marked with the name of the Bidder, project & Lot No. All envelops shall then be sealed withwax.

The Bid documents shall be accompanied by Bid security amount of birr 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Birr) in an acceptable form of Unconditional Bank guarantee/ CPO and must be addressed to Damota wolayita farmer cooperative union (Address mentioned on item no. 3) and should be submitted with the Technical document.
Sealed bid documents shall be submitted to Damota wolayita farmer cooperative union (Address mentioned on item no. 3) not later than 21 consecutive days at 2:00 PM beginning from the first date of advertisement.

The bid will be opened on the last bid submission date at 2:30 P.M at Damota wolayita farmer cooperative union (Address mentioned on item no. 3) in the presence of bidders or authorized representative who wish to attend. If this date is not a working day, the opening will be postponed to the next working day at the same time.
The employer reserves the right to cancel the bid partially or in full.
