Invitation to Bid
To: - All contractors of category GC/6 BC and above with valid license for the current year
The Erer Farmers Cooperative union has funds within the Employer's budget to be used for the procurement of G+4 mixed-use building partial finishing work at Bishoftu town.
The Erer Farmers cooperative union invites sealed bids from eligible bidders of category GC6/BC5 and above.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the Federal Government of Ethiopia and is open to all eligible bidders.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Erer Farmers cooperative union HQ (project coordination office) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7(a) from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm local time.
A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased as of the first date of this bid announcement on the newspaper by interested eligible bidders from the address below at 7(b) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 500 birrs by Erer Farmer's cooperative union name at cooperative Bank of Oromia account number 1000000761781.
Bids must be delivered to the address below 7(c) on the 21st date of the announcement in the newspaper. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of 100,000.00 birr payable at first demand. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders /representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7(d)

b) Documents can be purchased at Erer farmers cooperative union HQ procurement office NO 8
c) Bids must be delivered to Erer farmers cooperative union HQ procurement office at or before 2:00 pm on the 21st date of the announcement in the newspaper.
d) Address of Bid opening: Erer farmers cooperative union HQ assemble hall at 2:30 PM on the 21st date of the announcement in the newspaper. If the 21st day is not working day or the holy day the bid will be opened on the next working day at the same time.
e) The bidder shall seal the original, Bid security and all copies of the bid in five inner Envelops
i.e. (technical proposal original and copy, financial offer original and bid security) and one outer envelope, duly marking the inner envelopes as “ Original” and “copies” both for the "technical proposal” and “financial offer'. Copy of documents should be a photocopy of the original bid document. And signed and sealed standard bidding document (SBD) must be returned with other tender documents. Failure to do so will result automatic rejection from tender.
f) The employer has the right to reject any or all bids.
g) The particular rebates, like fixed sum and rebate on some items, is not acceptable.
h) Only bidders passing technical evaluation will be considered in the financial evaluation
