Welcome to AmericanPicks.com NFL Computer Picks & Predictions. Here you will find all of our NFL Computer Picks and Predictions, for all upcoming NFL matches and the three most popular markets, being Moneyline, Over/Under and Against the Spread.
If you like these, you should take a look at our Same Game Parlay picks for both NBA and NFL .
Computer Picks, or Computer Predictions are selections of who might win the NFL match, made by a computer algorithm. As there is so much NFL data readily available, it makes accessing team and player historical performance much easier and this data is used to lay the foundation for NFL computer picks. The data is typically put through an algorithm or equation to determine which results(s) are most probable, and these are then presented as the Picks from the Computer. Not sure you want these, be sure to take a look at our Best bets today .
Each NFL prediction site will have their own algorithm ad way of calculating results. We have ours, which we have developed over the past 3 years. It enables us to take vast amounts or raw data for NFL teams and Players, assign weighting/importance to those variables we feel are most important, and then run game simulations. Our predictionEngine runs thousands of simulations for each match, and determines which is the most probable outcome for them. It then provides for each Computer Pick, the Moneyline prediction , Over/Under prediction and Against the Spread Prediction . See all computer picks
This is arguably the most popular NFL Betting market, as it is the simplest to understand and bet on. You simply need to bet on which team will win the match. Our computer picks start with the moneyline prediction and make a prediction on which team it believes will win the match. It does this for every NFL match in the season. For each match you will see we will say Team XX will win the match. That is the moneyline pick.
The second most popular bet type is the over/under. Here our Computer Picks predict whether the total points scored, at the end of the match will be over or under the amount designated by the sportsbooks. Over/under refers to if you take the total score of each team at the final whistle and add the together. Will they be above or below what the bookmakers are saying. as our NFL computer picks calculates the final scores, it can also make this Over/Under Computer Pick.
The third most popular bet type is against the spread. This market is where you need to choose whether the winning team, the favorite, will win AND win by the handicap or spread, presented by the sportsbooks. For example, if a favorite is +1.5, then they need to win by at least 2 points in order for you to win the spread bet. Our computer picks makes against the spread predictions for all NFL matches.
So, why should you use our NFL Computer Picks & Predictions? There are a number of reasons. Computer Picks are unbiased and non-emotional. The predictions are made based on factual data and simulations. It is purely based on numbers. Computer Picks are fast. Although the data is vast, the predictionEngine can run multiple match simulations concurrently, meaning that we are able to provide picks and predictions for all matches, be them NFL Picks for today , tomorrow, or only Sunday Night Football Predictions . It also means we can respond to new data and team or player changes near instantly as these simulations may have already been run.

There are 10 home underdogs on the schedule for Week 1 of the 2022 NFL season. No team is favored by more than a touchdown, and four games feature a point spread of less than a field goal.
Here are picks against the spread for every game in Week 1, as well as updated betting odds. These are the latest betting lines from FanDuel and DraftKings Sportsbook .
Buffalo Bills (-2.5) at Los Angeles Rams
The Super Bowl champs shouldn't be underdogs at home, even if the Bills are among the top AFC contenders. Buffalo gave up 42 points in its last game and will miss injured cornerback Tre'Davious White against Cooper Kupp. Since 2014, the defending champs are 6-1 in the NFL's annual Kickoff Game.
Baltimore Ravens (-7) at New York Jets
Prior to losing last season's opener in Las Vegas, Baltimore had won four straight Week 1 matchups by an average margin of 36.3 points per game. With Joe Flacco likely under center for the Jets, the Ravens might be headed for another blowout victory. In three career Week 1 games, Lamar Jackson has nine touchdown passes and no interceptions.
Indianapolis Colts (-8) at Houston Texans
Houston might catch Indianapolis off guard and make this game surprisingly close. The Colts are 0-4 in Week 1 games under head coach Frank Reich. Davis Mills didn't start when the Colts blew out the Texans in Houston late last season.
New Orleans Saints (-5.5) at Atlanta Falcons
There are too many questions about the Saints to bet them as 5.5-point road favorites. How effective will Michael Thomas be after two years off the field? How good is the offensive line? Jameis Winston is coming off a torn ACL and didn't even throw for 170 yards per game last season.
Pittsburgh Steelers (+6.5) at Cincinnati Bengals
The Bengals won't have an easy time against their AFC North rivals. Cincinnati has a target on its back, following a trip to the Super Bowl. Pittsburgh found a way to upset Buffalo in last year's opener.
New England Patriots (+3) at Miami Dolphins
Everything is pointing toward Miami being better than New England in 2022. The Dolphins have surrounded Tua Tagovailoa with elite weapons and a much improved offensive line. Mac Jones is without a true No. 1 receiver, and he could take a step back in his sophomore season now that Matt Patricia is the Patriots' de facto offensive coordinator.
Cleveland Browns (+2.5) at Carolina Panthers
Jacoby Brissett can be a fine game manager in Cleveland. Baker Mayfield might eventually find his footing in Carolina, but he's in a tough situation Sunday, making his debut against a good defense that knows him well. The Panthers don't have many quality wins under Matt Rhule.
San Francisco 49ers (-7) at Chicago Bears
San Francisco should beat Chicago by at least one touchdown. The 49ers are among the top NFC playoff contenders. The Bears might be headed for the NFL's worst record. Nick Bosa could have his way with maybe the worst offensive line in football.
Philadelphia Eagles (-4) at Detroit Lions
The Eagles embarrassed the Lions 44-6 in Detroit last season. Philadelphia is one of the league's most improved teams from last year. Most of the Lions' success should come in the second half of the season when their schedule gets much easier.
Jacksonville Jaguars (+3) at Washington Commanders
Now that Jacksonville has gone from Urban Meyer to a Super Bowl winning head coach, the Jaguars might be as good as the Commanders. Because Washington has arguably the NFL's worst home-field advantage, the line should be closer to one point than a field goal. Trevor Lawrence will be the best quarterback on the field.
New York Giants (+5.5) at Tennessee Titans
The Titans should be favored by a touchdown at home against the Giants. Tennessee isn't getting enough respect after earning the AFC's No.1 seed last season and losing a nail-biter in the playoffs. New York had the NFC's worst offense in 2021 and exhibited few encouraging signs in training camp and the preseason
Las Vegas Raiders (+3.5) at Los Angeles Chargers
While the Chargers are getting all of the preseason hype, it was the Raiders that won the season finale between the AFC West rivals and earned a playoff berth. Davante Adams could have a big debut for Las Vegas with Chargers cornerback J.C. Jackson out with an ankle injury.
Green Bay Packers (-1.5) at Minnesota Vikings
The gap between the Packers and Vikings might've closed with Adams' departure and Minnesota's coaching change. Allen Lazard is uncertain because of an injury, potentially severely limiting Aaron Rodgers' options. Few teams can slow down the Vikings when Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, Adam Thielen and Dalvin Cook are all healthy.
Kansas City Chiefs (-3.5) at Arizona Cardinals
Good luck stopping Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City's offense when Andy Reid has months to prepare for an opponent. The Chiefs are 4-0 in Mahomes' Week 1 starts, scoring at least 33 points in each game. Mahomes has 13 touchdown passes, no interceptions and an average 131.4 passer rating in season openers.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-2) at Dallas Cowboys
Dallas might be able to steal a win Sunday night. Tom Brady could be a little rusty after his preseason hiatus. The Bucs are dealing with offensive line and wide receiver injuries. Dak Prescott threw for 403 yards in Tampa Bay during last year's opener.
Denver Broncos (-6.5) at Seattle Seahawks
It's a stretch to say that the Broncos are close to 10 points better than the Seahawks on a neutral field in Week 1, which this point spread suggests. Don't just assume that Russell Wilson will be terrific in his return to Seattle. The quarterback could get off to a slow start as he adjusts to a new offense.

A College Football computer pick is an entirely unbiased stats-driven pick on the outcome of a certain College Football game. Our College Football supercomputer runs advanced statistical models to provide free college football computer picks for the Power-5 Conferences and any matchup featuring a top-25 team.

With so many stats available for every facet of the game, we are able to use this data to run non-biased simulations to paint a picture of how the numbers see the game going. Each college football computer pick is the result of over 10,000 simulations, with the results of those simulations then compared to the live sportsbook markets and odds. Doing this allows our supercomputer to identify t he best computer picks and value selections for every Power-5 or Top-25 game throughout the season.

Our supercomputer will compare the lines and odds with the Money Line, the Over/Under Totals and Against the Spread for each of these games, and give its pick on either side, as well as a percentage chance of winning.

Check out all of this week’s NCAAF computer picks right here, on the College Football Computer Picks page.
There are many ways you can use our College Football computer picks, with a wealth of information on offer for each Power 5 conference and Top-25 game.

For each game, you’ll find our NCAAF computer picks for the Money line, Spread, and Points Totals markets. These picks are taken from our supercomputer’s college football score prediction. By running 10,000+ data simulation around individual player and team performance, our supercomputer makes its college football score prediction for the game. It then compares that prediction to the live betting markets and odds, highlighting which side it likes, the percentage chance and the best College Football Odds on offer

One of the most popular uses of our computer picks are the college football score predictions. With the wealth of statistics in our armory, our supercomputer can crunch the numbers to predict how the player and team stats see the game going, derived from the expected points total of each team.

Our Supercomputer runs over 10,000 simulations to map out every Power 5 and Top-25 ranked match and create a college football score prediction for each.

By doing this you can get free unbiased college football score predictions, which are then automatically compared to the live sports betting lines and odds to find the best bets for that game.
By far our most popular pick on our college football computer picks is our NCAAF Computer Picks Against the Spread

Here you will find the current spread line along with our supercomputer’s probability predictions for each team to cover the spread, along with the best available odds for each side. Lines can, and often do change leading up to a game, so our computer never rests. We run continuous simulations and as the lines and odds change this will be reflected in our picks, best bets and value selections. You can find the last time our Supercomputer refreshed the picks and data on site, so rest assured that what you see is up to date and a real-time college football computer projection.
Here you’ll find the current points total line for that matchup, along with our supercomputer’s probability predictions for both over and under that total, along with the best available odds for each side. Our simulations are continuous and as such our page regularly updates to take into account any line movements and also the impact that has on the predictions, and odds. This allows us to stay up to date with what can at times be a volatile market. In a close game a point either side can make all of the difference, so rest assured what you see is up-to-date and reflects the current odds and betting lines.
The supercomputer also predicts the outcome of the match. Betting on the college football money line is the easiest way to have a bet on a game, you pick a side and place a bet on that side. Some of the money lines in the college football game can have really bad odds for when a big school plays a smaller school, but for those closer games like Georgia vs Clemson, our supercomputer money line picks are great. The supercomputer will calculate the chances of each team winning the match from running over 10,000+ simulations.. It also details the current best odds for each team to win so you know you’re on the best bet at the best price.
With a wealth of information, and numerous ways to bet on every single game of the College Football season, our College Football Computer Picks Best Bets is the best place to start. Every Power 5 and Top 25 game will have a Best Bets tab on the computer predictions page displaying just that, our best computer picks for that game.

Our supercomputer generates multiple predictions for each game, but here you can find the ones our supercomputer likes most, those it projects as having the best statistical chance of cash
