First thing I did on the internet was hit the newsgroups and found a home in rec.arts.anime. Same time, I went on IRC Efnet and found channels to hang out in and chat. Been on the net ever since 😁 On Compuserve I hung out in 2 chat rooms. Village Elders and Breakfast Chat (I think that was the name) and my name was redsky. Fun times 😁

I remember when Compuserve, Prodigy and America On Line were the hot stuff. Dial up internet access was all there was and AOL charged customers by the hour for online access, chat rooms and news groups were the rage.
