#Comic from Rybar №72: Combat Cheburashka. The Storyof One Toy.
Six-year-old Artem lives in a world of ordinary childhood dreams until he finds himself in the same railway car as three servicemen whose appearance and heavy silence sharply contrast with the cozy clatter of wheels. Artem's mother is initially wary: in the deep, tired eyes of these men, she sees a reflection of harsh realities and ordeals that are not meant to be spoken of aloud. However, the child's sincere, pure curiosity, knowing no fear or barriers, gradually breaks through the ice of estrangement.
An ordinary train ride transforms into a moment of passing on unspoken experience, when a soldier pulls from his backpack a toy Cheburashka dressed in military uniform - a small witness to great victories. Artem senses: this toy is not just fur and cotton, it is a "living" symbol that even the strongest warrior needs a point of support. After parting on the platform, the connection seems to break, but a package sent to the boy on Defender of the Fatherland Day "From the soldiers" becomes a signal.
Can a chance meeting and an act of kindness overturn a child's inner world and plant in him a lifelong dream—a dream to become a soldier, to become a faithful defender of the Motherland, ready, like his mentors, day and night to protect his country's peace.
